Razer Sponsored Streamer Sign up Broken (I tell you how to fix it) ;)

    So I got an email to finalize the Razer Sponsored Streamer Program signup and Once you fill out everything and click submit it doesn't work. So I dove into the sites code to find that the select for the Country is actually broken. It doesn't load a select at all on chrome and loads it disabled on Firefox and edge. So I looked further to find that you named the span with the label for the select select with the same exact id as the select does. So that will conflict with any JS code you have created to populate and enable it since it will find the span first not the select.

    Technically you should be making it like this:
    <label for="streamer_country">Country:</label>
    <br>
    <select id="streamer_country"></select>

    The country isn't marked as required and no error happens when you press submit so this isn't really built that well. So what I did was programmatically set the select to the United States by doing:
    $('select#streamer_country').val('US')

    And then it will allow you to submit your form.

    Razer please look into this...

    NOTE: This isn't a support issue I am complaining about. I'm more here to let people who have the same issue know how to fix it without having to go through support. Also wanted to make it visible for any of the Razer Devs to take a look :)

    I'm having the problem you described. Unfortunately my poor programing shenanigans can't decypher all that "remove the off of the span and programatically"... Could you please explain it in slightly more "layman" terms?

    Yes I can. What browser are you using? In general I couldn't get it fixed in Chrome because it can't actually load the drop down correctly. So if you have Firefox that would be idea. When you get to the page press the f12 button and there should be a console at the bottom where you can type stuff in. Just put in

    $('select#streamer_country').val('US')

    And then hit enter, and if you check the page it should now have United States in the country section.

    I was using Chrome, but switched to Firefox to try this method. I can open the console but entering the command it doesn't do anything. It just returns this line:

    Object { length: 0, prevObject: Object, context: HTMLDocument → rss-2nd-landing, selector: "select.streamer_country" }

    but no changes are reflected.

    I got it working by putting the line,
    $("select[name=streamer_country]").val("US")
    into the console.

    Ahh, you are right. That would work better wouldn't it. lol Either way it needs to be addressed. I hate how most people don't use Labels properly. o_O

    Thanks for the heads up and we have pointed this to our developer. The page is now corrected, users shouldn't have a problem registering now.

    Hello, hope all is well.
    I'm running into a slight problem when completing the application.

    I'm able to successfully fill out all of the fields and link my YouTube/twitch.tv account, however when I hit the submit button, it highlights the "*Social Reach" in red, as if I didn't link a social account. Not sure where to go from here.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Let me take a look, maybe I can find a workaround for this one too ;)

    Nope, the server just blocks me period since I already applied. Can't help, sorry :slightly_sad:

    @Razer|Vlad any updates on the new applications? I haven't heard back about mine yet, and I reapplied on the relaunch day.

    Its seem like the channel you submitted has no subscribers / videos , please try linking your main YouTube / Twitch account that you stream on to your followers. :)

    I applied to the sponsored streamer program on Nov 17th, 2015.

    I never received an email stating I had been accepted.

    However, upon submitting the application again, I receive the following message.

    " We understand you applied recently and you are currently supported by Razer in our Sponsored Streamer Program."

    My razerid is mikeyg95 and I am a twitch partner at twitch.tv/osiris_xf

    How do I find out what level I am in and or any additional information?

    That is the default response for all people that try to renter their credentials. If you were actually selected you would know it.
