    Hi !

I'm new in the family. I just received my brand new laptop: the Razer Blade Stealth 13. And yeah, even if this thing is expensive but it's the most beautiful thing I never had :)

So, i just finished setting up my pro stuffs. And i started to install now my games (LoL but i have a little problem of display and PUBG).

The first lunch of pubg wasn't that great. Graphics were on LOW but still laggy. Is there some tips to launch this game without the external GPU ?

    Thanks,

Nope, the iGPU, hd620 too weak to run unoptimized open world games like PUB. If you're still want to play on your beautiful Blade stealth;) if you have desktop or systems with powerful GPU try streaming through steam, that's only the way you can play it on stealth.

    Hi there,
Thanks for your answer. Tought the 620 can't at least go for the "very low" to have at least 30 fps :slightly_sad:

PUBG is super not optimized, especially for low end hardware like integrated graphics. you'll need the eGPU to run it reliably

I had yoga 720 13, tried also get over 20fps with tweaking through ini files etc that showed on YouTube. But it showed like playing on Atari when I was child;) I think it was 600 to 400 resolution and on dark room you can't see anything, and you will be dead soon because you don't have good vision. I end up by returning it (it had also TB3 2 lanes problem) and bought cheap mx150 Chinese ultrabook and refurbished Stealth, for my ultrabook solutions. I have Blade 14 for serious gaming but i want something more portable and could run light gaming on go. With Stealth I could play light games like CS go, overwatch, FIFA, PES, rockets league etc on go, but for PUB I use mx150 ultrabook on go.
Stealth is sexy but if Razer put dGPU on it they won't be able to sell good the core. Even they make Kabylake R refresh UHD620 won't also be able to handle PUB in this not optimized condition, I heard even with GTX1080ti the FPS is also going drop randomly in different locations.

Going to want to look into the Razer core if you really want a good experience with that game.

I’m already bought the Razer Core(it’s on its way) and i’m thinking what is the best GPU can i go with to get high setting on PUBG? (With the Razer Blade Stealth + Core of course)

Keep in mind @Kong97 that you won't reach max potential of a high end GPU with the Razer Core bundled with RBS. This is because the TB3 uses the strength of your motherboard for all its energy; so the motherboard of an ultrabook is asking a bit much from the likes of a 1080. This is where the bottleneck is created. Your best bet is probably the 1070 and some people hate to hear it but even a 1060. Just make sure you have the dimensions of the GPU down as you narrow down the field of what you want. Oh, and what ever type of games you may be playing is always a factor! :)

    buy a core

or sell for blade. Sorry bud, the only software suggestion I can give isusing razer cortex. It helps me--

Im running a blade and am getting 100-200 fps but when I use cortex the frames go up to 400+ so yeah, I would definately look into the the options above.

Hope this helps, however, it is important to note that the stealth was marketed as an ultrabook, there is some play-ability but I would be hard-pressed to recommend it for gaming. If you want to and it's been less than 30 days, and if games are more important than the extra 1 lb it would definately be worth to look into getting a full-out blade instead.

Best of Luck in fixing your issues!
