Can someone please explain to me how exactly the 3 Razer switches work? It seems a bit to complicated for a newbie like me.

Razer greens - Cherry MX Blues
Razer Oranges - Cherry MX Browns
Razer Yellows - Cherry MX Silver/Speed

    To elaborate...

Razer Green - Clicky. Choose this switch if you want the most feedback. Make sure that people around you won't be bothered too much by an extremely loud keyboard.

Razer Orange - Quiet. Take the audible click away from the Razer Green switch.

Razer Yellow - Linear. Straight up, straight down. Simple. Works.

I'd recommend going for the Razer Orange switch, simply because it's a great in-between switch. If you're feeling adventurous, the Greens provide the most feedback.

Basically what Lafar said above, but Razer Yellow switches is basically more quiet than the orange keys.
