Razer Synapse 2 Not Working with MacOS MacPro Mojave


Purchased Razer Chroma / Trinity / Kraken set-up and had a great time setting up all the lighting, profiles, and key bindings - unfortunately after about a month, Synapse 2 stopped allowing me to log-in causing the keyboard functionality to not respond, nor allow me to customize lighting or special features with the mouse and headphones.

1. Would be forced to log-in over and over again with no access to the Synapse 2 Dashboard.
2. Would try to access Synapse 2 from the top menu bar, but would then freeze upon clicking on any options.
3. Uninstalled Synapse 2, re-installed and signed-in to find some settings were deleted, but I could access all the features again! Days later, the problem came back again - I could not log-in to my account.

I'm going to do a fresh un-install, de-activate accessibilities, and re-install to see if anything comes of that.

Has anyone had the same issue?

Are you getting any specific error messages? If so, can you share a screenshot so I can get a better view of your situation?

I have an entire txt.doc that Apple shared as a report. I would be willing to share via DM, but do not want to share publicly as my mac may become vulnerable.

Please let me know if there is something specific I can screenshot that would help. Here's a taste.

From the looks of it, the app is crashing due to RAM issues. Do you have other apps that crash with a similar EXC_BAD_ACCESS error? I recommend running a memtest but do send me a PM with the full logs.

ITS THE RAM.

Apparently when my RAM is above 53% Synapse 2 stops functioning correctly, so I used Dr. Cleaner to 'optimize' my RAM and it works again.

Nicely done! Though you might want to "optimize" once in a while to prevent things like this from reoccurring. Anyways, feel free to ping me should you need assistance in the future.

Thank you for helping bring the LIGHT! on this issue. Sucks that it doesn't just work naturally without maintenance, but atleast I can use my kick-ass razer set-up and Mac!
