Razer Synapse 3 causing PC to stall constantly while playing Gears 5

If you are playing Gears of war 5 and have Razer Synapse 3 running, using the Gears 5 Chroma app, it will cause the PC to hang and stall while you are using keyboard input. As soon as you turn off Chroma Apps or turn off Synapse 3, it goes back to normal. Have been having this issue for about a month.

I'll include a screenshot on how to turn it off, took a bit for me to figure it out.

Hey there! Thanks for sharing this with our Support thread. When did the issue start? Does it happen only while playing Gears of War 5? Have you tried creating a dummy Razer Synapse account and see if the issue still persists?

It started on about the 22nd of September. Yes it only happens when I play Gears of War 5. No I have not tried a dummy account.

So after further investigation, it seems like the Issue is with Razer Cortex. Not sure why before it helped by turning off the Gears 5 Chroma App, might be related and combination of Synapse, Cortex and Gears 5. Seems to always happen when I have Cortex running. Tried leaving Cortex running with Synapse off and issue still happened.

Is there any update for this issue? I've encountered the same problem with Cortex and Gears - The game freezes on keyboard input and unfreezes when releasing the keyboard.

a. Clean reinstall Razer Synapse 3.0
b. Create a dummy Razer Synapse account and link the game
