Razer Synapse 3 Failing to start

    Hi there,

    So Synapse updated itself and now it will not start. I have already tried to perform a clean install even going so far as using Revo Uninstaller to fully un-install the software and removing any registry keys as well.

    Any help would be greatly appresciated.

    Do you have see if there are some ERRORS on "Event Viewer" -> Windows -> Application OR System during the time you try to install it?
    If not, let see and reply … without any details it's impossible to give you any help ;)

    is a custom event viewer list with all the synapse related things

    PSTKOSIS,
    The error in the log tell us that some permissions on files system goes wrong, I suppose during installation.


    I assume that you have logged in Synapse with your account and your settings are saved in the Razer Cloud.

    Try to:
    1 - uninstall Razer Synapse, all.
    2 - Reboot
    3 - If exist, Delete/Rename the folder C:\ProgramData\Razer\Synapse3
    4 - Install Synapse 3 (NOTE: that past weeks my Synapse got an update)

    if not Works, try redo the steps but at point 3 delet all Razer folders (eg: C:\ProgramData\Razer\, C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer)

    I've been using Synapse 2.0 since I posted this but I will try what you have suggested.

    Worst case scenario I am planning on formatting my PC soonish and I'll try to install 3.0 on a fresh OS
