razer synapse application doesn't open [Resolved!]

after the recent update (in which for me it didn't finish updating at all. it was stuck halfway and wouldn't budge) the app won't open now. i tried task managering it, didn't work. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but now all it says that it "failed to start" and when i retry nothing happens.

has anyone else come across this problem? if so, does anyone have a solution?

Try to reinstall or update these and perform a clean installation of the app by following this guide. Shoot me a PM if the problem persists so I can help you further isolate the issue.
