Razer Synapse Enabled Device (Mac OS)

Hey everyone,

Just recently purchased the Basilisk V2 mouse, and the Huntsman Mini keyboard for day trading stocks. I went ahead and downloaded the Razer Synapse software so that I can sync all of my devices with my IMac but I keep receiving and error, "Please Connect A Razer Synapse Enabled Device", as if they are not able to locate any of the devices I have connected. I have opened and closed the Synapse software, received the latest update, and even attempted to disconnect and reconnect my devices with the program running and still nothing has been detected.

Has anyone else ran into this problem? If so, how were you able to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Basilisk V2 uses newer Synapse 3 version, which is not available on MacOS (WHY?!).

Honestly, they really need to port Synapse 3 to Linux and MacOS

Not quite 100% true

If I'm correct, you can still use the RAZER products like normal, it is that special features from Synapse 3 which you won't have access to.

Special features like~~

  • Light effects
  • Key changes + macro settings
  • Mouse acceleration configs
  • X+Y horizontal and vertical aspects

Of course without these interactions RAZER products are just an ordinary hardware, but do not lose hope.

Otherwise, Windows is waiting for you~~~

Yes... and no. Mouse will work WITHOUT any driver/software, just like a normal mouse, but you cannot rebind your keys or change Chroma lightning.

For MacOS users there's an small project (forked from Linux OpenRazer project) which let you to change some settings: https://github.com/1kc/razer-macos

Do they have one for other things apart from color? I want to change my mouses de-bounce time without buying a new mouse. If there is any software on Mac that can change that than please let me know.

Debounce time change is not possible even through Synapse (it's actually controlled by mouse firmware).
