Razer Synapse Service data usage

    I've noticed this a few times already but the app keeps uploading/downloading GBs of data every month to somewhere.

    It happened before I did a fresh Windows install on both W10 and W11 now too.

    My current 30-day GB upload is nearly 24GB. That's a little too much for an app that doesn't really do much.

    I've seen a comment by someone saying it's a bug and it's been flagged but that was January 2021. It's September 2022. Surely it doesn't take over a year and a half to fix something that is a massive issue.

    1. where does this data go or come from?
    2. what data is being uploaded/downloaded?
    3. not everyone has unlimited data for this to take a massive chunk of data usage every month. It's my 4th most data driven app, and with the rest at least I know they do use a lot of data

    Can we get an answer to this as well as a resolution as soon as possible, because it's quite unacceptable to spend so much money on products only to have to use their software which is randomly uploading and downloading data for years now.

    Here is the comment I found that mentions it's a bug:

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Please gather the Synapse logs from your PC by following the steps here and upload the files to google drive. PM me the link to the drive so I can access the files and start a case so our Software Team can look into your concern.
