Hey guys over here! I always wondering if I was the only one who think that cloud based setting for Razer Synapse is not usefull...what do you think about it ?

I'm telling this because I'm not the one who is bringing his mouse, keyboard, etc...to a friend's house and want to play with my settings. My stuff do not move from my desk...they are too valuable! ;)

Don't get me wrong, Synapse is great SW but I also think it's missing some features like could assign more than one game to a profile without having to copy/paste it. One profile -> one game but it should be one profile -> various games. Logitech had this feature, it was cool...even if Logitech peripherals are bad and I won't buy any for life!

    Any thoughts ?

I think it's good for like LAN's or something, but yeah I don't see much point if you don't move your stuff around. I recently upgraded to windows 8.1 and it was so much easier to just download all my macros and stuff without having to redo them :D

Yea, I don't use it either, It's kinda hard to drag around my huge case, 3 monitors, keyboard and keypad with me :D
    And mouse ofc :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I went with an Alienware before discovering Razer products, and now it sits in the corner of my office like a gaudy hunk of shame. Wish I had gone with the Razer Blade Pro.

OK, true that for a restore is quite useful but you do one per year? Every two? I mean, cloud login just add startup sequence to Windows...and this is at every startup!

Yeah it can get annoying, and I only use Synapse for The Razer Surround Pro because it's so beast, although I don't need it for my Tiamaut 7.1s ;)

I haven't used the cloud aspect of Synapse myself either. Having the current profile stored inside the device (The way it was before Synapse) was enough for me. That said the one thing I do like about Synapse is the consolidated menu. Having the settings for all my different Razer devices in one place and not having to go to different apps in the taskbar for each one is a nice feature.
