Razer Tablet

I been on the fence about buying can anyone give me their personal review on this thing and is it worth it.

 

From what I have read the Razer edge is purely a niche product and has died out and has very poor battery life in top of being very expensive for its capability

 

Tablet for gaming with better looking games than Asphalt 8 and Subway surf? Just buy a decent tablet from Samsung it will run everything

 

is it even on the store?
(maybe i dont see it because i live in the EU)

 

My friend says he likes it but its not worth the price idk im looking around.

 

Its not on the us store either, that tells you how well it worked

It's old now. I always felt like it was a bit of a missed opportunity: the screen resolution was a disappointment when the 1st gen Surface Pro was shipping at the same time with a 1080p panel, and I didn't feel like the keyboard dock was well implemented. I keep hoping they'll revisit the idea, though. With Broadwell and the 900 series GPUs, I think there's a real potential for a great device in that form factor for gaming.

 

i love my edge pro but price and difficulty finding accessories is frustrating. its also a heavy tablet everyone says get a surface but you cant game on a surface like you can an edge pro. would love an update or refresh to hardware but i have my edge pro modded and overclocked and can run all games at a playable level as long as i dont try to run everything on ultra.

 

I reckon razer should do a new edge but in the design of the vita maybe

 

Quite surprised that the Edge wasn't sold in my country (where ML is from...). Looking at the reviews I had thought that it might be safer to wait it out.

After a long wait I'm waiting for Surface Pro 4* instead lol

* Supposed to use a spanking new Intel chip at 2015Q4

I think if Razer would release a Tablet with top performance and up to date hardware it would be great. There are too many Tablets, which u cant use for gaming. Hearthstone is jsut an expample for a game that doenst work on all tablets!

 

I would love to have some tablet with good stylus pen and cheap price

 

Bought mine day one with all the accessories and i have to say i LOVED it for a good awhile . The game pad IMO was amazing for some games like Bioshok infinite, Skyrim and Tomb Raider. It felt way more immersive for some reason ( really cany explain) even though it lacked in the graphics compartment. At the time if you had the money it would be a good buy but as of now its kinda just a relic you put on the shelf because no one really wants to buy it. But hey if you can find it for cheap by all means pick it up and give it a go with the games i listed, you wont be disappointed.

 

Get an Nvidia Shield Tablet. $299, built in stylus, plays games, and streams some from your PC too if you get the controller.

 

I dont even know if it is on the store but I dont think so ... I got myself a NVIDIA Shield 16gb WiFi for around 300€ and its totally worth it ... so if u want a Android Tablet with much Tech Specs ... Go get it

I love my Razer Edge! Too bad we are unlikely to see a new model considering focus with companies are on game streaming. Hope I am wrong though.

I also have the Nvidia Shield Tablet but I find issue with the wifi signal...Google on this issue before making the purchase for anyone thinking about it
