    Hey guys,

So I just had the new Razer headset delivered and I am struggling with getting it connected.

The headset claims to be compatible with the card but the actual ports on the card are a little confusing.

The Tiamat has the following standard connection jacks.

    Side (Grey)
    Rear (Black)
    c/sub (Orange)
    Mic (Pink)
    Out (Green)

The card has the following inputs. My main confusion is that the card seems to have two side ports for both left and right. These are labelled SL and SR in the linked diagram.

There is also a better diagram on page 3 here.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I would just go to the live support here: http://support.razerzone.com/live-chat

They're the ones who would probably know best about their own product.

The alternative is you can wait from someone here to reply.

    Good Luck with your issue!

Trying to connect to an agent now but I am not sure the support works for the U.K. I will keep you posted :)

Any news? I just got the headset and the soundcard and I'm having the same problem right now.

No luck at all I’m afraid. I ended up trying two different higher end sound cards after the Audigy and the headset still sounded terrible. I tried a few different setup guides I found and also tried Razer support but I just got nowhere. I ended up sending the headset back, ditched the sound card and now I use Sennheiser’s PC 373D set which is stunning. I love Razer products but I found setting this up intolerable.

Too bad! I finally got it. I just put on a song with a good bass and then with the headphones on, switched the connectors, trying out different options. Untill finally I heard a good bass and overall sound. The sounds is amazing. But I don't recommend people doing it like this cause if you forget to put your sound low, you could damage your ears while switching the connectors.

The way they are pluggin in now is:

    Black (sub/c/side L)
    Orange (rear/ side R)
    Green (front/headphone out)
    Grey (line in)
    Pink (mic input)

Hope this helps for others that have this problem!

1 thing to remember. The 7.1 won't be 7.1 while listening to music. Switch it off for that. When going into a game or 7.1 (surround) movie turn that True 7.1 back on and feel the epicness.

EDIT: I am running a basic Realtek High Definition Audio sound card in a stock Asus.

Hey man, I actually just received the headset back from Razer returns as the set arrived on a Saturday and nobody at their returns centre was there to collect it. I can return it again or give this all another shot. How are you finding it? I still have the Audigy card that I can install again too.
