The Razer Tactical Pro has been my every day backpack for the past few months. As awesome as it is (especially when traveling), the thing is bulky and some days I desire for something more light weight and less prone to hitting people as I walk through anywhere narrow

I had a chance to test drive the Razer Utility Backpack over the past week and some change. I'll keep this thread simple by just listing out my pro's and con's, final thoughts, and a ton of pictures. Enjoy!

    PROS Vs Tactical Pro:
    -Light Weight
    -Cheaper In Pricing
    -Looks Cleaner (subjective)
    -Less Thick/Bulky
-Compartments Appear To Be Water Resistant? (not 100% on this one)
-Side Mesh Pockets Great For Carrying Drinks

    CONS Vs Tactical Pro:
    -Much Less Useful Compartments
    -Less Padding/Protection
-No Velcro = No Ability To Expand With Pouches
-Cannot Velcro On Rad Razer Gamer Patches
-Doesn't Look As Mean And "RAZER" Like (subjective)
-Top Zipper Is A Pain, Unzipping Doesn't Feel As Good As Other Backpacks

    Final Thoughts:

While the Utility backpack is indeed more light weight, overall it is still on the bulky side. The height is near identical to that of the Tactical Pro. And the lack of compartments is a huge bother, to me at least. For most people this backpack would be more than enough for daily usage, I'm guessing those of you who are students will love this thing to death.

I favor the Tactical Pro. YMMV
