Razer v3 Pro Wireless typing gibberish & how to prevent updates

Is there any way to prevent updates running atm? I have a v3 Pro wireless keyboard which was fine for ages until it became a very expensive paperweight for around 4 months due to just randomly typing gibberish until the most recent update I got (3.7.731.72516) where this behaviour stopped. So, I can only assume this issue was caused and fixed by an update. I see that Razer has thoughtfully removed the option from Settings so that we can untick Automatically check for updates to avoid updates, and there's now only a button to Check for updates in Settings > About. I'm on W10, and W10AMEL. Does anyone have a way around this to prevent further updates? TIA frens.

You can try block it via firewall, but you'll loose access to razer I'd account / settings sync etc.

Perfect, great idea, I don't care about the Razer sync ecosystem terribly much, not enough to allow Razer to break my keyboard again. I just found the program Razer Updater.exe and have blocked it. Hopefully that does it, and Razer Central and Razer Synapse still have internet access so I'm guessing they'll still function as expected. If anyone else needs the path it's here:

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Razer\\Razer Services\\Razer Central\\Razer Updater.exe
