Just bought a Razer Viper "8KHz" Ultralight mouse...
It's great, when it works.
I say "8khz" in quotes because it's not really usable at this speed.
Dropping to 1khz and nothing drops.
However the second I put anything over 1khz, even 2khz, I get massive frame drops.
Seems the more mouse movements I have the more the fps drops.
I have applied an MPO registry change someone recommended, and I have found that in the primary game I play, turning off "High Precision Mouse Support" and then turning it on helps for the specific match I'm in temporarily...but this only works about 70% of the time.
Anyone have any solutions other than dropping the polling rate? My final fix for this issue is going to wind up returning the product... Because despite the quality of the mouse it seems to be failing at it's primary selling point... And I'm shocked that Razer has no driver update or resolution.
So if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.
Hi bestRUBYDarkBlue909,
Thanks for bringing your concern to our attention. Did you already try to update the firmware of your mouse? If not yet, you can proceed by following the steps here. If that didn't help, let me know through PM so I can validate its model and raise your concern with the relevant team for further diagnosis if necessary.
