Razer Viper makes weird noises

So, I bought the mice after I was fascinated by how light it is but I still managed to have good "control" in games.

After only 4 days of use, it starts making weird noises when I use the left and right mice button. Like a "squeak" like sound. I've never inflicted damage to the mice nor did I let it fall to the ground. No one else touched that mice.

I can still use the button and they function perfectly but am I allowed to claim warranty?

It's annoying and it feels very weird every time I use the button.

I didnt know where to upload that sound so I hope its not against the rules to post a link by "SoundCloud":

!!!WARNING!!!

The sound is very loud. Lower the volume!!!

Yes, I also am having the same problem with the mouse. I have been using the razer viper for 2 weeks and has started to be having that strange squeak sound to the left mouse button, I think its something with the left click button rubbing against something in the mouse but i did not notice any defects with the mouses clicking

new hardware already showing signs of bad review?
Noticed that mine is doing the same thing. Definitely sounds like a plastic-rubbing squeak coming out of the left-click. Really like the mouse but the squeak is annoying. You can feel a slight difference in the force required to press the button as well.
The left-side rear side button is slightly depressed for me as well. I use that button quite a bit in gaming and it seems as if the springs might be a little weak causing the button to be recessed slightly now.
@Excidium1221 Am I allowed to claim warranty in cases like that?

I mean the buttons arent "malfunctioning" but still.. its quite annoying.

Hey everyone! Thanks for landing your concern on our Support thread. This is not what Razer aims when the product is created. Please send me a PM together with a video recording showing the concern plus your Razer Viper's serial number. Let's continue from there.

Feel free to drop me a PM together with a video showing the concern.
My mouse is doing the exact same, the right button is rubbing down the left side. I can hear it even when I have headphones on with the game sound pretty loud.

The right button is loose, I can bounce my finger on it without even clicking it and it does it.

Great, I'm not alone with this. I already emailed Zegetron S.A. (the Razer reseller in Greece) and I'm expecting a reply. I bought mine at 11/8/2019 and the first squeak was yesterday, today after 2 hours of CS:GO I get it for a while and it comes and goes several times an hour.

Send Razer support a PM too.
I did! I've heard great things about Razer's support, this is my first Razer product and I don't want to be disappointed. Great mouse but this shouldn't happen if you consider the asking price.

Yup mine sounds like that but its the right button on the left inside edge.
I got my replacement and it has an issue as well. The right-click makes a loud "tack" sound on release, really annoying. I just happened to stumble upon two badly QCed units.
Here's the video. I asked the Greek retailer for a second replacement, hope they grant it.

Hey havent you got enough of those videos already? Its annoying but i can live with that tho paying 160eur for the mouse with this quality level hurts me deep inside, but its okey im not picky not gonna run to replace it. I just hope it wont hinder mouse2 performance i n a long run.

That's noted. Razer is investigating the odd behavior. By the way, this is is not happening to all the Razer Viper models. If the weird sound goes unbearable and the mouse is not purchased from the Razer website, please contact your reseller as that will be the fastest route to get a replacement. Don't hesitate to send me a PM should you need further assistance.
Guess I'm contacting the store to get my 150$ mouse replaced then, if they will.
For a luxury product, from an established brand, in 2019 - "doesn't happen to all of them" is unacceptable. It should happen to none. This flaw renders this mouse inferior to a 20$ bargain bin product, with no exaggeration.

Razer wants to charge like a premium brand, they need to start producing like it. Time to start focusing less on wrapping gimmicks in flashy aesthetics, more on the quality of the product. Nobody says "Oh, yeah, this iPod is janky from time-to-time and has some notorious problems across their models, but... they're not all like that."
Sadly I am getting this problem with my mouse too. After 3 days of use the left click started squeaking. After a few more days this problem still randomly comes and goes. It is very annoying.

Hey everyone! Please send me a PM together with your device serial number and a video showing the concern so I can create a case number and escalate it. Let's continue from there.
I have the same problem. Is there a solution without having to replace it?
Update to my previous post: About 1 week after my December 21 post my often squeaking noise in the left click stopped occurring, so I decided not to refund it. I think it just wore in and stopped happening so frequently. I'm still not 100% sure if it's completely gone. There are times when I THINK I hear it once and then it stops (very infrequently), I don't know if its my imagination or not but I'm happy that it's not a constant squeaking.
