The mic volume is very low when I plug a wired headset into the Wolverine Tournament Edition.
It's Lower than with any other of my controllers and it doesn't matter which of my headsets I use.
I have tested it by calling MS Skype's echo test and listening to the resulting demo audio, with every combination, each at least twice.
Plus, my friends in the XBOX LIVE party keep telling me that my voice is very quiet whenever I use the Wolverine TE (without them knowing which controller/headset I use).

My headsets (all are wired only):
    Logitech G231,
    RAZER Kraken Mobile,
OneOdio Studio Pro 50 (new version),
    ASTRO A10.

    My controllers:
MS XBOX ONE S Controller (tested wired+wireless),
    RAZER Wildcat (wired only),
    RAZER Wolverine TE (wired only).
