Razer zSilver Jan 2018 Rewards and Updates

    I just got enough to order the Lancehead and now its gone :slightly_sad: And the Mamba too.
    They could've done something better than increasing the prices but its still free so meh.
    Please give back the Lancehead :slightly_sad: Even if I need more zsilver.

  2. What's scary is that if they increase now, what's going to stop them from keep increasing it everytime u get close to the amount? :/

    i agree with him. there was aa thread way back then by CEO about how we could improve this situation. i say that the rewards program should be exclusive to Razer product owners or at least have their identity/email verified by visiting a Razer Store.
    one good suggestion is/was a unique code that will be needed to activate the Cortex rewards program in your zVault account, and this can be the Razer product S/N or asking personally on any Razer Store worldwide.

    there will always be people who will abuse this rewards program so at least some measures must be placed.

    Hammerhead BT was 103k but now increased to 183k z silver. How many years of games will i need to play in order to redeem it? So sad...

    So when is the next update for the zvault gonna be? I was saving up my zsilvers since August for the lancehead and now it got removed lol. Would have gotten it in another month's time. Any chance of seeing it come back soon?

    They won't just keep increasing prices. If there's a problem with people 'farming' zSilver and taking all the rewards and it's a big enough problem they'll place in plenty of restrictions or just flat out remove the program while they come up with a better way of doing it. Besides the zSilver currently caps out at 300k they'd need to expand the cap to do that. Yet also the zSilver IS somewhat based on real currency value too as you get so much for spending different amounts of zGold so it they were to raise prices too much more, not only would they have to raise the zSilver cap but they'd also likely have to raise the amount of zSilver one gets for buying with zGold as no one is going to use zGold for their purchases if the bonus is super low in terms of value.

    Legit the only reason I made an account was for the Paid to Play and zSilver system. I wouldn't of bothered if it was just another digital wallet system that i had to log in to and mess with without any rewards. I think they realize this and will force a solution of some sort before increasing prices again if the problem persists.

    when I redeemed the Hammerhead BT it was 130k =/ you sure the BT was only 103k and not the V2s?

    I believe that zSilver do expire after a year of obtaining them so unfortunately you will either have to play games that have bonus zSilver, purchase games through zGold or redeem something else. You will not be able to collect for years. Sorry!

    I was waiting for this update and I was expecting razer will add vouchers for each product. But the only thing I've seen is raising the price for vouchers for Razer products and VOUCHERS OUT OF STOCK......

    Eleven days ago I finally collected on Blackwidow but I could not pick up the code because it was unavailable now I have to collect 75k points ...

    If you max the daily cap for Paid to Play on Cortex everyday and get up to the 40 ZSilver a day reward and max that out every day it will take around 319 days-ish, and ZSilver is good for a year so that gives you the few extra days to make up for it. This also doesn't count events and such that go on, and I think they might be adding more ways to earn it to make up for this price increase a little bit.
    There is always the limited number of vouchers around, and I find the more people that start getting involved in the program the faster vouchers go, and then that turns to having to raise the price so vouchers for that month do not run out in a couple of days or so. I think Razer might just give the ZVault team a certain amount of vouchers a month for them to deal with, and they need to spread prices according to that number of vouchers.
    ZSilver expires after one year of the earn month. For example, any ZSilver you get from Jan 1-31 2018 would expire at the end of January in 2019.

    They did have a warning on the ZVault site saying that they will be adding, removing and changing the prices of some of the items on the catalog, so there was a bit of a warning that the prices were going to change, it was not really put out there all that much though.

    Maybe you guys can find out something, that every member could choose 1 item from the "old" catalog for the "old" price, so they don't have to wait months to get it, eventually the price rises again and it goes forever and the Silver just expires...:confused_:

    Anyway , i like to see some new goodes :big_grin_:, but it's alo sad some of them are gone.:frown_:

    Well, it is free products, and the more demand there is for it the more they will need to raise the price. They might drop the price a bit in the future since 300k ZSilver is the max you can get in a account, so you could just wait and see what the future brings.
    Also, many people were waiting for vouchers to come back in stock for the Blackwidow V2 since this is the first restock since the start to mid of December, and some of those people have been getting ZSilver gained up in time too, meaning they might have had enough to get the keyboard with the new price. I think Razer just gives the ZVault team a certain amount of vouchers and that is it for the month, and the reason they do that could be many reasons (Money, etc..).

    I don't like the removing things from the Catalog as well, but they can't just keep them all in there otherwise Razer will not sell their items anymore. I'd do a thing like adding some expiration or removing date from every zVault product so the user will know for sure how much time he has left or if he can redeem it till it's out.
