So it was not a mistake :frown_: And they even didn't say anything about it.
I was saving zSilver for the Ornata chroma, but I found out its price has increased from 130000 to 183000. Kinda discouraging :frown_::frown_::frown_:

It´s bad. I had 220 000 but i cannot toke a voucher or keyboard because it was out of stock in store. I waiting two weeks and they only rise prices but they didn´t add vouchers or items for Europe store. o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O I hope they add vouchers but when I´ll have enough zSilvers, items will be out of stock again. :frown_::frown_::frown_:

@Jenjar Dont feel abussed but do you really believe they are loosing money, you have to be kiddin me? Not sure does Razer make a profit from this program but for sure it's not loosing money.

From pure economics point this would be the worst idea ever made from such company like Razer(to lose money so others can make money (the ebay sellers) ). Dont be stupid guys, thats ridicilous.

They are loosing that business though, and they do need to pay for the products to be made in the first place, so they kind of are loosing money, but not in the stance where the company as a whole is loosing money. I don't know how much this affects their sales, but at the end of the day with this program they need to make the products (that costs them money), and then they are essentially giving them away to us.

They do make a small amount off this program with people buying ZGold, but even then they likely have to pay some of those other sites and services to accept their currency as a payment option (ex. twitch). Even with the money they make off that, it does not really outweigh the amount of free stuff that they are giving out.

Your logic is pathetic. Im trying to explain that even the products given as zSilver rewars brings Razer enough money so they can cover the costs, and here comes the question where they might even make profit not only to cover the costs, we will probably never know the answer. But theres also another looking point, if Razer only covers the costs for the products by advertising games in Cortez and selling zGold and doesnt makes profit, they could sell it with overcharge to make profit instead of producing it only to get its production value, which is respectable if it's true. Thats why it makes me think that Razer does make a profit from Paid-to-play and doesnt only covers the costs.

if they were losing money, they wouldn't be doing this in the first place.
They'll surely have some deals with the featured games' companies

Exactly... we can only stay here and guess what it really is and how Razer covers the costs. But one thing i know for sure, Razer isnt loosing even a cent.

But still they are the only company doing this kind and great project. Big admirations to Razer! They found the best way to make us earn something paying with our time, patiencе, labor at the same time we are doing our favourite thing- gaming!

I still didnt say anything for the general idea of the discussion. Well i was collecting for Razer Kraken 7.1 v2, but just like most of us I got really disappointed to see these huge changes. I do not blame anyone for this, Razer has all rights to do it, since the fact they are giving this stuff to us for almost no money and their kindness. But my principle looking point tells me that Razer has mocked us. This was unprincipled move from them and really heartbreaking for their fans. We aren't talking for small company with 10 employyes. We are talking for Razer - the biggest gaming international company, company with PRINCIPLES. It does not have to be a word for being unprincipled at this level and they just did it as they didnt give any info for these changes. Unactceptable for such company. We all know Razer doesnt guarantee nothing and has all the rights to make adjustments, so the only thing we give our trusts for are Razer's principles. And such moves can lose our trusts. For example if this keeps happening every time i get close to something in the zSilver rewards, at one point i will give Paid-to-play a kick and thats it.

The only thing im blaming Razer for is not informing their community. Keep your principles Razer !

What happen?? Very less choices now in the reward list, I'm guessing they just want to clear up the old product and add in new products in 2018. There are some product I'm interested like Nommo Speaker Series, Razer rogue 15.6', Razer Leviathan 5.1 ,Razer Seiren USB Digital Microphone, hope they will be in the reward list in the future. And we need more point to get rewards now guess the company don't earn much money by giving out too many free stuff. Why not Zsilver had some activates for fans to earn more point like clicking or visiting advertisement.

I felt disappointed by the sudden increment of Razer zSilver Rewards price as well but when you think rationally, it's reasonable for Razer to adjust the pricing. The well-demanded Razer products usually the Mice, Audio, Keyboard, and Mats got increased. Meanwhile, the less-demanded product like Gear & Accessories, Game Keys, and Discount Vouchers got none to little increment and decrement too.

I had a Google Sheet to help me calculate the redemption date and was waiting for 8 Feb 2018 to redeem Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 (previously was 130 000 zSilver). Now the price is 183 000, so I have to wait until late April 2018. It's a little bit sad but having a chance is better than none. Here is the link to the sheet, if you want to forecast yours: https://goo.gl/Tp6JVf

During the early release of Razer zVault, there aren't effective ways to earn zSilver. Fortunately, now we could just farm zSilver by running the games (like bitcoin mining sort of). Before the late Dec 2017 updates, we can only earn zSilver by playing the games of choice, but now we could play our favourite game and still earn a little zSilver. We trade in time and electricity bill to earn entertainment and Razer Rewards. I could go deeper with the Razer Rewards vs electricity bill but I will just keep it simple by saying it's a win-win situation for both us gamers and Razer.

I believe Razer would have lesser double cap weekend as well because more people including non-gamers are now farming zSilver. This is a challenge Razer need to face to make sure they could still have profit to be a pioneer in the industry. In my opinion, setting a higher zSilver price is one of the solutions, discouraging non-gamers to farm zSilver (This affect inconsistent gamers as well). Simply running the game in the background cost you electricity so if you didn't get the entertainment part, it's not going to be a win-win situation for you. Therefore, the demand for currently high priced zSilver Rewards is going to reduce in the future, and hopefully readjust the pricing.

I hope in the future updates, Razer introduces smarter ways for us to earn zSilver effectively as a real gamer to maintain gamer's interest while keeping the demand within a reasonable range. This is what we gamers are hoping for.

I think the exact thing you do!
But as a strong company in gaming business, you cannot be so careless about the emotive impact of your actions. I mean, im pretty sure they thought about "ZSilvers programm" for a while before starting the project...they surely made some kind of calculations of the costs...

I mean, i dont think it was something like :

"Hey Jhon, let's make a new rewarding program for players and let's give them free Razer peripherals!"
"Ok Jack, seems a nice idea...but... Dont you think it could make us lose too much money?
"Oh relax Jhon. We'll see! If there will be problems we will make the effort of hundreds of players practically useless by demolishing the possibility of redeeming something decent without spending 2 years on the keyboard.

So, if you made that calculations you had to apply the RIGHT zSilver cost from the start, getting the players to a step away from the win and tearing it from them was not really necessary.

Moreover, if you change the games that guarantee you 3 zSilver on a monthly basis... it is obvious that a good number of players will be forced to play titles they do not like (and own)... so they will download them, try them, and become afk farmers as soon as they realize those games are not the games they want to play.

To avoid this, it would be enough to make games "FEAUTURED" for a short period of time and allow you to collect zSilver (not 3, maybe 1 or 2) for every title played with Razer Cortex in the Background! Minecraft, LOL, Overwatch, Happy feet, super mario...whatever.

This would be a win win situation, Razer earn money "Feauturing" a game, players earn zsilver while they play theyr favourite games... and occasionally players try a new game and boost theyr zSilvers farming (and Razer earn for sponsorizating those games)... No one is froced to spend hours of afk farming to reach something worth the shipping costs (thats another funny shit)

I was so excited I just hit the original required amount to redeem for the orb weaver chroma 182K, I went into the vault to claim my majestic prize for playing so many games and to my dismay, the price has jumped to 238K an increase of 55K.... just to put that into perspective that is another 59 to 62 days depending on daily logins and max hours of gameplay holy. Straight bananas. I know its a free service with no real benefit to Razer for doing it

I see Razer don't care about negative comments, 0 posts from support/admins ;)

I know zsilver is only bonus add, but price change is a cheat, they want 1 thing: they will change price and They will wait for a year and the chips will be lost to you, so that you can never order anything good ;)
