okay, so the Razerblade 2015 is great, but I have a few ideas for next years iteration.

    1. Either a 980m or better
    2. Chroma keyboard
    3. Thinner if possible but I'm not complaining
    4. Better cooling solutions if possible, more quiet
    5. SSD storage AND HDD, maybe 256 to 512 and 512 to a terabyte
    6. 4k screen
    7. More ports, USB type C at least one and at least one more USB 3.0, SD card reader
    8. 16gigs of ram for every model
    9. Sky lake maybe
    10. Price drops maybe or better promos for it

Please tell me if any of these are good ideas, but these are what I would want in the next razerblade

16Gb RAM, usb type c, and better graphics Card are probably likely. I would also like to see another 33% off systems sale! :)

That is a good idea but I think it will be a couple of models later, maybe in 2017-18. The blade is supposed to be portable and that would be good for at home but not for travel. Also I think the price of the Blade is quite reasonable considering what you get in it and its size compared to other laptops with similar specs. At least thats the case in Australia

For all the feature you said is kinda hard for price drop ... haha

I was thinking of something that stay at home with a powerful external GPU (to actually replace a desktop PC), and still be able to travel with the blade (without the eGPU).

That chroma keyboard though =) it's a must! Don't need to be thinner, more battery life is all you need. Willing to sacrifice size for battery =).

That's actually true, but if you take some of those features away and replace with a price drop it could work

Oh yeah forgot the battery life!

Since you posted multiple ideas the poll is kinda worthless since its a yes/no option so I'll address it point by point. I'm assuming this is just the Blade and not the Blade Pro.

    1. Yes but this is to be expected as each year Razer does a GPU update.
    2. Given their massive push into Chroma I fully expect this to happen and would be shocked if it didn't.
    3. Don't think this is possible. The Blade is already pushing the physical limits on size.
    4. Due to my earlier point, I'm not sure if we can get it much quieter. Due to the decrease in size you are also creating smaller area for heat to be distributed. Which means you need that constant flow of air in order to keep the components from melting, hence the high fans. They might make fans that achieve the same air flow with less noise but in general faster moving parts equals more noise.
    5. They already did a hybrid solution and it got mostly negative feedback, which is why in 2013 if I recall they went with full SSD. You can't fit two drives in it again due to the size.
    6. They had a 4k display on the 2015 Blade but not this Pro if I recall. I wouldn't be against it but expect to pay for it.
    7. The three USB ports, headphone jack, HDMI port and power plug have pretty much maxed out the space both the Blade and Blade Pro on that side. I think switching out one USB 3.0 port for a USB-C would be nice but I don't think it would be smart to switch them all unless USB-C is backwards compatible without an adaptor. Most existing products are still on the old standard so doingca massive shift might not be smart.
    8. Agreed.
    9. Skylake is possible since Razer tends to put the latest architecture in their new release.
    10. Don't expect a price drop, these are luxury laptops and you are paying a premium. Also I would be curious what the profit margin on the Blades are due to the fact that they are likely not pushing the same volume as other OEMs which leads to an increase in production costs.

Thanks, yeah I hadn't really thought about the poll

Chroma on the Razer Blade would be pretty cool!

The 980M would be nice. I would like to see Thunderbolt 2, and 3 when it is available, which eliminates the need for USB-C, since they are backwards-compatible.

I wouldn't go with thunderbolt, it's much expensive. I rather the usb type-C

And for the next gen of blades I would like to see better gpu, and i'm not talking next gen. But the macbook pro 15 goes up to i7-4980hq and razer falls behind? And I wouldn't mind having that intel iris pro graphics.

Also I would like to see a display port instead of the hdmi, the reason why is obvious right?

I'm not complaining that the trackpad is bad, not at all, but again is falling behind the responsiveness and premium looking and feeling of a macbook. The buttons could use some work, they're good but do this chep clicking sound and feel.

The arrow keys please, the trackpad is secondary, after all your plugging a gaming mouse, but no so commonly your plugging a gaming keyboard, and that is the only complaint I have about this nearly perfect keyboard.

Again, comparing to a macbook pro, both have glossy screens, but the mbp has some sort of coating that makes it less reflective. I think the blade could use some, you know ... for outdoor use.

The 15 or 20 levels of brightness of the keyboard are more than enough (literally more than enough), but I could use some levels of brightness on the razer logo on the back of the screen. I look like I'm radioactive in a dark room

I would like to see a fhd or 2k touch screen 16gb of ram version. The QHD+ is awesome, but I'm not that sure how many of you guys are playing games on ultra at native res, I'm not and I'm cool with 1080p.

That's all I can think off, the blade is an awesome laptop and there's really not much to complain about
