Recommended Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station

Hello!

I have a Razer Blade 15 (RTX 2070) and I am looking to easily set it up as a PC. Being a full time college student I use the laptop for gaming, work and class. It would be nice to have a Thunderbolt 3 dock where I can easily plug in one cable and have my two monitors, mouse, keyboard and possibly speakers all connect through a single dock. I understand that I can purchase an EGPU such as the RazerCore X but I don't see the point in spending $1000 for a case and graphics card when the graphics card is going to get bottle necked through the thunderbolt cable anyways. I am perfectly happy with the performance of the RTX 2070 built into the laptop.

Ideally it would be nice to have a system where I can still maintain high fps and smooth mouse / keyboard reactions through the docking station since I game quite often. Additionally, will I be able to close the laptop and put it on a stand while it is connected to the docking station, like the laptop was never there? There are obviously a lot of products available but I just wanted some recommendations since I have never used a Thunderbolt 3 docking station before. If you have any feedback I would greatly appreciate it!

Hi there,
I use a Lenovo Thinkpad Thunderbolt 3 Workstation Dock with my early 2019 Blade 15. Works pretty good, but I had to use the updated Intel graphics driver from the mid 2019-model to get full colors (?!) on my secondary display. Other than that it just works. My keyboard, mouse and headset are all connected to the dock. No issues here.
Hi there,

I have Razer Blade 15 with RTX 2070 onboard.

I connected Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock Gen but nothing seems work: neither ethernet, neither monitor, neither mouse.

I downloaded and installed an official dock station driver from the Lenovo website and it didn't solve the problem.

Any ideas what I can do?
