Less than one month since our last major patch, we're back with another update. The next patch was only supposed to go out in late-Q1, but ever since the January update, we have had a big influx of support tickets that wrecked our support inboxes with requests asking for a dark theme. So, the Synapse engineering team came in clutch to be the savior of our support teams, shuffled around things around on the to-do list and made an intermediate release. Here's what you will find in this latest release : Dark Theme - It's finally here. You can choose the dark theme after installing the latest update from the user menu (gear icon on the top right). Thanks for all the feedback and your patience. New devices - We've only had a handful of days since the release less than a month ago, so we haven't been able to complete the work on too many devices... but we did managed to squeeze in 2 mice for this intermediate release. Synapse 3 now supports : - Deathadder Elite (including special editions) - Mamba Tournament Edition (The support list Synapse 3 webpage will be updated soon with these two devices. Rest assured, the support for these devices is already LIVE at the time of my post). Ability to bind Lighting Profiles to Games/Apps - Head over to the "Profiles" tab where you will see an option bind your Chroma studio lighting profiles to specific games and applications to allow auto-switching based on foreground application. Import/Export of Chroma Studio profiles - Chroma Studio now allows import/export of lighting profiles. A Chroma workshop section to for submission and download of community-generated profiles for Synapse 3 will be added soon. Please do note that Synapse 2 lighting profiles are not compatible with Synapse 3 because of different architecture. Chroma Studio navigation/UI improvements - Pointing to an LED shows the currently applied effects to that LED. We have also added keyboard/mouse shortcuts for more intuitive navigation (full list of shortcuts can be found in the bottom left of Chroma studio). Easy macro-binding workflow - Macros can be assigned to a specific profile and key/button with a simple workflow inside Macro module itself now, and doesn't require going to individual device pages and switching to the target profile. Bug fixes - Last but by no means least, we've fixed over 300 bugs of varying magnitude, including speculative fixes (keyword being speculative) for corner cases where Synapse would sometimes not start-up, crash or behave in weird ways. Credits to all users who reported bugs through the beta feedback section and sent in their logs to help with the investigation. Also, did I mention it has dark theme now, so you can have your rainbow in the dark? Cheers!
