Attempting to purchase an official razer blade battery to replace my original battery which swelled up to twice as thick within 12-14 months of purchase. This caused the trackpad to stop clicking in, the keyboard started to bulge upwards. The battery was swiftly removed so I could keep using the laptop while plugged in but now I obviously can't take it anywhere without a power lead connection present...

Asked support for the ability to buy just a new battery as that's all I need and the only option appears to be send the whole laptop back via RMA and have someone simply remove the back panel, and screw in a new battery and ship it back for god knows what cost... third party batteries are only £80-ish on amazon so that will be the route I go if its made impossible to obtain a razer battery legitimately.

Just wondering if anyone has had this issue? No doubt this is why the 2022 models have 24 month battery warranties? Hard to remain enthused for these products when you can't even by a battery via aftersales...

Can you send me your case number via PM so I can review your contact history? Also, I'll be moving this post to our system board so other Razer Blade user can post their inputs on this thread.
I have the exact same system and almost the exact same problem -- RZ09-0367 purchased almost 15 months ago. About a week ago, the battery stopped charging quickly. No bulging or bubbling. If I leave the laptop plugged in and turned off overnight, the battery will only gain maybe 10-15% charge by morning. Doesn't discharge while plugged in; however, Windows doesn't show the little plugged-in battery icon anymore. I swapped chargers with the same result. The laptop is rarely run off battery (it dies so quick anyway) and has spent most of its life plugged into a line-conditioning online UPS. Anyway, since it's out of warranty I'll try an aftermarket battery replacement.

Please try the steps from this article. Otherwise, send me a PM, including your laptop's serial number, so I can check its details and provide model-specific recommendations.
Thank you for the response. I had already followed those instructions once without much luck. After running the laptop down and then letting it charge again overnight the battery was only at ~15%, so I assumed there was something else wrong. A friend of mine suggested to do the power drain-recharge cycle one more time. After the battery was discharged a second time, I plugged the charger back in and the battery charged to 100% in about an hour -- like it was originally performing. No replacement battery or charger needed. I don't know if my experience will be unique, but maybe update those notes to repeat Step 8 an additional time if it doesn't work after the first discharge. Thank you again.
