While I agree a lot with your opinion, there's some points that I'm not.

First is the sum of Zsilver earned via the P2P system ; even if the sum is 1 billion, so what ?
It was a program made for anyone to be able to get these points. We're 3 players at home but I initially thought that P2P was only for owner of Razer products, so I farmed points until I can redeem a headset for my wife and only after she started use P2P. And my son would have do the same once I earned enough to offer him something.
Would I have search more, we all 3 would have earned 3 times more.
That's not charity, but only take what is offer to you.

Speaking of Charity, wich in my opinion was not Razer's goal.
I trust that P2P was a way for those lacking money to afford their stuff with some little personnal (but no financial) investment.
And I accept that the mass of negative returns disgusted them.
Charity word would be right if it was from the start a time or whole points limited.

And last ; P2P is only on a break for now, they're working on a way to make it different and they clearly said that if nothing good sorts out of their brainstorming they'll eventually closed it definitively.

P2P was a marvellous idea but the greed of somes have turned it awfull for those who only wich to offer pleasure.

In the meantime, here are other ways to earn zSilver:

    • Use Razer zGold to pay for your gaming purchases
    • Be an active contributor on Razer Insider
    • Login daily on Razer Cortex
    • Sync your Steam account with Cortex: Deals
    • Subscribe to Cortex: Deals newsletters and more to come soon

so basically 100 zsilver per day max

I have an idea about reward sestem. Z silver 900 max per day, with razer stuff found on pc and play. I mean if someone use razer stuff like keyboard mouse e.t.c. taking more rewards.

The programs heart is generous, but it is easily taken advantage of and exploited by people who just want the gear for free, just to resell, instead of actually use for themselves, or give as a gift.

I personally used the P2P program to redeem a firefly and a chroma base station, and am grateful for it. But I can not think of a way to keep the programs intent to allow fans who can't afford things to redeem gear overtime, and stop people exploiting the program. In the end if the day, if you give the fans and people the option for free stuff over a long period if time, some people will exploit it.

You could make it so the P2P option is open for only users who have purchased at least 1-3 main Razer product that is used within synpase 2/3 (Mouse, Keyboard, Headset, Laptop, Mouse pad, etc), but the problem would still exist, where even some fans would exploit the program. But it would significantly decrease the number of exploiters, but would also deny some fans of Razer, who have not been able to even afford 1 Razer product.

Been using razer a long time so when I found out about p2p I was ecstatic but sadly after I started using it it was suspended I hope razer come up with a new and better way to redeem razer gear.

min himself is a gamer, he know how it feel to have not enough or no money to buy the best gear on the market to play. 1 Billion zSilver is equal to $10m USD, that is a MASSIVE lost on revenue everyday. Well, hopefully they will bring it back, but i highly doubt it.

Personally, I'm a little annoyed on how it was done.

I played Star Trek Online. On their NEWS page, the added a Post about Razer's Paid to play feature and that STO had been added...! But on the Cortex app.. It was "Coming Soon" until the change to rotating pool of games.

I'm personally hoping for Digital Goodies, within the range of "casuals" . I really don't know how I can earn enough for a new Keyboard. But hey, a Money off Voucher may help.. I personally hope It won't be few items for a few games that don't change for the years.. (There was a similar Service that ended up like that. The items ended up being the same for the last 3 or 4 years of the life of the system.)

Bring it back. Ban hammer the noobs who hate. Why punish everyone who appreciates you and your company? I have seen more negative posting now from your loyal fans and from bloggers because of the cancellation of one of the coolest programs by any corporate company.

I can say in my experience that after many sacrifices, I was able to collect enough zsilver to take what I wanted for a long time not being able to allow it, like the firefly and in a few days I will take HDK chroma shipments increase the costs a lot, so I I'm saving € 79 in Italy to take the stand for headphones so do not spend shipping. but if it was not for P2P I would never have been able to get these objects. I will thank so much razer for what he did.

I totally agree with you. I hardly use cortex now. I use it just to get 40 coins and i shut down the program. With P2P it was turned on all the time. I also had a reply on this forum saying that you should just ignore stupid people and focus on people that love razer. I played since september 2017 and i hardly have 42 000 coins. in other words i played all the time still have no coins to buy something meaningfull like statio on firefly. Now with this tempo i wont buy them ever because my coins are going to expire long before i get 110 000 of them. If with P2P i wasnt able to collect more than 43 000 how in the world am i going to get 110 000 coins?

Honestly with the P2P program getting a reward was very realistic in a years time. The amount of silver you got was massive. However now, If you're only logging in on cortex, doing the daily insider stuff you can be looking at 2000+ days for a high end keyboard.

Now you may say. Alcamz, just buy zgold.

Honestly the amount of silver you get for gold is very low. 1 for 1? So spending 10 dollars gets you 1000 silver...That's honestly nothing at all in the long term. It's honestly not worth the hassle of buying gold, spending it on games/putting it on a game website, to then buy games, then enter a code. I'd rather just buy it outright on steam and be done with it. If you somehow spend a thousand dollars worth of zgold (115000 silver/gold at 1-1 scale) you might be able to get a free Razer product one day. (minus shipping)

It's a difficult thing to balance. Razer are still a company. A wonderful one who likes to give back to fans but they still need to make profits. I also highly doubt Min and his team want to be taken advantage of again.

At the end of the day, we got free stuff easily accessible. I'd honestly say too easy to access, now that they're not to easy to get naturally the fans don't like that. But Razer didn't have to give it in the first place. We should appreciate the time P2P had and move on. I would love to see it come back. With reduced rewards however. With either a lower daily limit, some sort of loyalty program or lower the amount of zsilver/hour you get.

Listen (and maybe occasionally reply) to your actual customers who bought your products. Instead you replied and listened to people who want to get your products for free? Read these posts regarding the quality of your products (actually: the lack of quality).

My main issue with the Paid to Play program is just the number of supported game titles. I never used it due to this limitation, because I do not want to be limited by what I can play. I game because I want to, not because I have to.

Bring back the Paid to Play Program, this time with a larger selection of titles, or at least the E-Sports ones. I know that it is not possible to include each and every single game in the program, but please include games that top the charts, and those which can run on weaker systems, so as to reach out to a much larger audience.

The threats should be reported to the authorities, if possible. This should not be tolerated.
