I think shipping should be made free.

And I think you should be happy that the program even exists. ;) Especially now that P2P is in danger of being taken down.

That is actually a pretty precise desciption of the feeling I get about it some days.. Sad thing is, the P2P game often wins. Although with zSilver expiring I would never be able to afford a new mouse if never going with the supported game. So yea.. That's kinda' sad.

Please, tell me you and the other whiners are a lobby who wants for unknown reason kill the P2P, because for how much I love the program, Razer, and my zSilver, I really can't find any word to convince Min that this people deserve it.
What's difficult in understanding that it's not a right?
The only thing I could say it's that looking around the ones that talks as they have the right to get free stuff at their conditions are young, really young, and in the community since yersterday. While the program was intended for hardcore gamer and fans as a token of appreciation it's been invaded by "yey! free stuff! gimme more" people.
I was truly against a system who discriminate our gear, or how much time we follow Razer, I thought that the program should arrive to all who could have needed it (and APPRECIATE it). But reading the comments of this last week I'm sad they didn't put some kind of filter since the start.
I know we all have been teens and did stupid things, then it's supposed we grow and become better. But yes, thank to all of them who can think only at their profit, now everyone will lose. I'd really love to know from them what they gained from this stupid and selfish attitude.
"oh my god I have to wait other 2 month to have my keyboard free, I can't live anymore!"
Well, guess what, now you go out and pay real money if you want it. You just made a huge good deal.

That would be pointless to Razer if that was the case. They already provide the products for free in most cases (other then people who buy ZGold and then get ZSilver, but most people use paid to play and other ways), adding the shipping cost too that would make them loose more money then already, on top of the fact that some countries have big shipping costs.

I couldn't agree more, the way some get on is ridiculous, complete entitlement. To get something for nothing and it's still not good enough like you say "Gimme more people", they need to bugger off. Nothing can ever be good enough for some.

That would be even more unfair for Razer....cuz they don't earn money from this and the only way of them not having to pay for the shipping is us paying it....if u can understand their point of view the shipping costs are meaningless compared to what you would pay on a normal order

What I would really looooove to see is more exclusive items, like the Razer Chroma Mug Holder, for Razer fans like myself that already have everything that they could possibly buy.

I really like the idea of the Paid to Play program. However I get little use out of it since I really love the Razer gear that I have already purchased, and have no real intention of replacing any of it anytime soon. I have multiple mice, keyboards, a super nice Tiamat 7.1 headset, and even several Razer mouse pads. I crave exclusives!!

Either way. Thank you for all of this. @mltan and team have done a tremendous thing with this program, and I'm glad to be apart of it, and even more proud to show off the Razer gear on my desk to others. No one deserves to get threats regarding something good they are doing for the community.

Heads up all - and you're getting way advance notice of this, so everyone should be happy. I've decided to suspend Paid to Play from 1 March and we'll have the formal notice out in the next couple of weeks. On the same note, all other zSilver earnings and redemptions are business per normal, so you can still earn zSilver and spend it - just that earning it via Paid to Play (which has seen the most amount of negativity) will be suspended until we see how we can improve on the system or failing which, suspend it altogether.

Our mission/goal is always to give back to the community and do cool stuff together, and the negativity of Paid to Play is definitely not in line with what we wanted. We'll review the system and hopefully, find a better way to get it executed.

Thanks so much @mltan! That's more than enough time for us to prepare.

Thanks for the update mitan - I think it's sad that all those people who couldn't appreciate the opportunity to obtain Razer gear for simply playing as usual have spoilt this excellent program.
I've found new games I wouldn't have thought of trying that have become favourites and the feeling when I opened my new Kraken headphones was awesome :big_grin_:
I've loved Razer gear since my first Deathadder many years ago, it's not something I can afford often so the chance to play to earn more gear was brilliant for me.
I hope there's a way to implement something similar in future but if not I'll just keep saving up :smile_:

  12. I remember you saying about reviewing this Paid to Play to people that already own Razer things and in my opinion this is the best way to solve this issue - less negativity from greedy people that want everything for free and don't appreciate anything. You should also add some other aspects and try to ban people that are too negative - you will never get rid of them entirely, this is how our world works unfortunetaly.

Thank you for everything you have been doing for us - I for example wasn't happy for price changes in the beginning - mostly because I was really close to getting Ornata Chroma keyboard, but I also thought about it for a bit and I got to thinking that the prices were too low indeed, so I kept my mouth shut, because I appreciate what you do and understand you.

Have a good life sir, whatever your decision may be.

I love it!!! It is awesome but I wish it supported sandbox games like Creativerse. I spend too much time into that game and I wish I could get zSilver out of it, but I guess I will have to play competitive games more often.

@mltan, What if unused zSilver? Lost?
Are you still planning to update the catalog? Before the promotion is suspended?

Let me ask for something not yet related to zSilver.
Are you planning to introduce new languages to Synapse?

In my opinion the whole program has some ups and downs but generally it's pretty good. People understand that they're getting stuff for doing what they would do anyway - playing games. Personally i wouldn't mind if you'd put some ads into the Cortex just to make some money on them. If we are getting stuff for free, why won't you get something in return? For me it's a great way to get some high end eq from my favourite brand.

Really hope you bring the program back soon.

Thank you for everything you've done Razer!

Any plans of another way to earn zSilver on the way? It's unrealistic to keep the whole program going otherwise, as long as zSilver expires.

Sad to see it go, but i fully understand your reasons.
But if somehow you manage to fix Paid To Play problems and make it comeback, i think you should review some things:

    1. Make the Daily Cap lower for new accounts and for every account already existing (like 100 zSilvers per day) and make it so that only real razer fans/supporters can have the chance to increase the limit and reach the maximum (900 zSilvers per day), by owning razer gear (each new product you buy you get +40 to maximum cap), being active on forum (+5 to maximum cap for every week you are active), coming to events, etc...
    2. Make it so that only real Razer fans can actually earn zSilver by playing (maybe use Razer Insider for checking subscribe date to the forums, which must be at least 3 or 4 months, or maybe only if you own at least one Razer Device). If you don't have the requirements, you can't earn from playing.
    3. Make it so that you can only have 1 razer account for IP.
    4. Make it so that Free to Play Games don't make you earn any zSilver, or if they do, they take double or triple the time. This can help fighting double accounts.
    5. Each razer account has to be connected to a single Steam Account. So if you already reached the maximum amount of zSilvers for that day, you can't switch razer account and start earning zSilvers by using the same Steam library.
    6. And last, but not least, add advertisement to the Cortex programm. Considering you are giving us free stuff for absolutely nothing, i think you should get some of the money back in return.
Those are just my personal advices for improving the system, by a real fan of your brand (i love all your products, especially the chroma ones)
    Thanks for being awesome.

P.S: Sorry if there are grammar errors, but english is not my main language.

+40 is the maximum cap for each equipment is an abstraction.
    You need as many as 20 devices ... I own 5 ...
