The Razer Tactical Backpack & Razer Tactical Pro Backpack are both completely different backpacks if that's what you needed clarification on.

^ exactly what I'm about to say haha. Thanks.
And from the picture you can also easily see what's missing from the non-pro version.

Love the review, I'm using a 17.3 inch laptop and didn't know what the bag is really like. Now I'm more than confident in getting this bag, thanks :D

This thread is convincing me to buy a Razer backpack, never thought of it until I saw your thread! Nice review!

I was thinking my Tactical Backpack would come with the logo as well, but it did not. However, the Tactical Backpack Pro did come with the two patches shown.

As to this point: I think saying that they're "completely different backpacks" is misleading. The Pro has the patches and the molle pouches on the outside front and is bigger in size, but other than that they really are pretty much the exact same thing. I have both and was expecting the regular bag to have some changes, but nope. Same front pocket with same organizers and key ring holder, same laptop pocket, same side pockets ... ones just a smaller version than the other, really.

Nice and detailed review! Can the normal BlackWidow Croma Keyboard fit in it too? I'm definitely buy it if it can fit.

As you can see I only have a BWC TE so I'm not quite sure whether the BWC fit or not.
But anw I did some check out and :
The Tactical backpack pro height is 470mm
The BlackWidow Chroma wide is 475mm
=> I think it's either a little bit too stretched out or not fit if you decide to put the BWC in.

hows the padding in the tactical pro? I'm taking a vacation to thailand later this year and am looking for a bag. I'd need it to be able to carry my DSLR camera and a few lenses. I like the fact that it has a rain cover, and that it doesn't look like a camera bag. Was just wondering how well it would work for that, in addition to being general utility.

The padding is great, very comfortable.
Here is a review from Linus, he shows the padding of the tactical pro.

Thanks for the really detailed review. I like the fact that you've included images, because we can't tell what a bag is like from a single image in the Razer store!

The bag is just too pricey for me at the moment, which is a shame. I'd like to use one of these for travelling as I like to go to my friend's house to game sometimes.

thanks for the review! Has anyone had one of these bags for a few years? If so, how well has it stood up to abuse? I tend to massively overload any bags. I like the material and overall design. Price is a tad high, but not too much higher than the bags I use now that I have to replace every 4 years or so.

Well, they did say that it is a kind that is ''military built and structured'' so it should definitely last for a LONG time... ;)
  20. This may sound like a dumb question but in the front of the backpack, the round elastic holders, what would they hold?
