Razer Cortex: Booster Prime Beta - Special version for PUBG PC gamers

Wait, what are they going to reset? I don't get it?...
If you click the button at the top of the screen that says "Rewards" then scroll to the bottom of the page you'll find in the text that this round of rewards is valid until June 1st 2017, 2359 PST. So, when folks talk about a rewards reset, then they are referring to a period of time *after* the "valid until" date and whether or not there will be a new rewards list or if the program will move to a different rewards system entirely.
I think the last end date was Dec. 31st 2016, though I could be mistaken. So, folks were asking when we would get a rewards refresh, ie: a new date with new items on the list. The new list is the one that's up right now. Once these expire, then once again folks will start posting asking when the next refresh will be, what will be on the list, will the new system go into play at that time, etc. Lots of speculation, many "I hope X is on the new list..." and that kind of thing.
Hope that helps answer the question!
Ahh, Ok thank you very much! I was getting pretty confused/worried
So after nearly 6 months of waiting we finally have a proper rewards system integrated with Zsilver and Zgold. I for one am dam pleased! This is a perfect solution that prevents spam posters from achieving high rewards for free but still compensating old users for their service. I don't know what you guys thing buy in my opinion Razer has score just right here! What do you guys think of it?
You can see my thoughts on the thread itself I think it's a step in the right direction, but the reward values are very low. Getting half the daily gaming bonus is worth more than everything I redeemed from 7 months. Remains to be seen what else they have in store, there's hints at other things which will happen, like events etc. Hopefully those will have a better yield
Hopefully yeah- what are your thoughts on play to earn? i think its an interesting way to get people to use cortex
I like it and I'm interested to see what games will be added. I'd love to see some less competitive games on there, Terraria for example would be amazing as it 's one of my favourite games and a great title which caters to most types of gamers I do know that publishers/devs need to speak to Razer to hook it all up, however, and I have a feeling we'll mostly be seeing competitive titles + maybe Minecraft.
I've started playing Dota 2 as a result of the system and I'm attempting to learn how it all works with bot matches. Don't think I'll ever go online with it though, I don't want a stressful experience
I was thinking they needed some less competitive games too-save that for the area i say-games like single player shooters or campaign driven games would be so nice to see added. How are you finding using the system?
Yeah, absolutely I'm hoping they'll try and focus on titles for more types of gamers and playstyles so everyone can be rewarded
Thus far the system works. I mean it's fairly unobtrusive and super easy to earn. I'll have no trouble even when it drops back to 3 zSilver a minute from 6. I'm 1/3 of the way to what I want, and only just started using the game system (when it was in Beta I was too busy to try and pick up one of the games, wish I had now haha). Was there something specific you wanted an opinion on? I'm kinda just rambling here
Point is more diversity is good, and I'm about 5% to my dream of having a Razer keyboard, sadly it's about 16 months away, I did the math... DAMN THE MATH, THERE GO MY HOPES AND DREAMS
Well Min did say if we are interested in getting more games added to this platform we should pester the developers to work with Razer in integrating it. Hopefully other games will be added based on the high demand for games such as R6 Siege etc.
It would also be cool if, say, you couldn't quite afford something, if you could pay the difference. For example if you were halfway to the Keyboard if you could get it half price instead. They do have those discount denominations, but they're all far too low to be worth it to me imo. Anyway good luck with your saving! Hopefully there's a few extra surprises along the way which will help you get there
Yea! Thanks! Honestly I've just accepted that I will have to bang out my 2014 BWTE and if I get année plank it would be a bonus. I learned to stop expecting rewards and stuff, just go on like normal! I don't even know my own balance anymore, or do I care. Maybe years from now I'll go on and realize I can buy a Razer smart car
Well thats good to hear and nope not really just getting a feel for the system-what is it you wanted from Zsilver?
True True. Man, wouldn't it be great if we as a community could get other developers to join us? I mean imagine the cult with big game developers backing it.
Well I recently bought R6 Siege and I already started pestering Ubisoft about adding it in cortex. Already tweeted at them and reached out on facebook as well. I believe it isnt too hard for devs to get their games added in, even a small studio that made Paladins got it to work so why not Ubisoft.
I kind of wish Razer would make it more clear what devs have to do. As an indie dev I have no idea where to start to see if they'll let us integrate. Guess I'll shoot them an email and see, I'm guessing they won't let small indie titles work though =/
Exactly, do you know much about the volume of users on cortex? From what i gather its pretty popular with Razer fans and other people. If its generally popular then it would make sense for devs to add their titles.
Yeah but the thing is devs wont add it unless fans ask them to. If the entire community bands together for a feature then the devs have no choice but to add it. And I guess a lot of people use cortex with R6 Siege, especially after the recent sale that Ubisoft had.
I'm thinking the Firefly currently, I have a really old and degrading mousemat and I can't resist adding more colour to my desk, especially if it's free*
(*Not including shipping costs).
But then you'll only be 24k zS away from the Razer Chroma Mug Holder . . .
