Ripsaw capture cards and Ryzen CPU

I recently switched to a new PC, and my first stream had strange moments when my Razer Ripsaw perfectly forwarded the audio and video to the TV but both audio and video have stopped in my OBS. I had to unplug and replug the capture card to the USB or sometimes switch to a different USB port to make it work again. Sometimes I needed to set the resolution to a different one in OBS.

My previous PC had an intel 7xxx and this new one has a Ryzen 5800x. I heard that some graphics cards, such as the HD60 do not work with AM4 processors. Is there a similar issue with the Ripsaw? If there are, can I do something to make my trusty capture card work again? If not, what other capture cards should work?
