  1. Hi there. I have been trying to capture footage on the PS3 with no luck. I am 100% sure I have every thing set up properly. XSplit and OBS have not been able to detect a signal. I am using HDMI and I am trying to avoid using AV. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ripsaw device should work with PS3. Make sure to disable the HDCP first.

To do so: go to Settings > Select System > uncheck the Enable HDCP box.

Let us know if this will work or not so we can further check your concern on our end.

This is not an option that is in System Settings

It should have the same set-up on how PS4 works with Ripsaw, disabling the HDCP is a must. The setting should be under the video. If you need further help on this, feel free to drop me a message with the serial number of the Ripsaw.

You cannot disable HDCP on the PS3. This is why the Ripsaw comes with a PS3 adapter so that you can directly feed a component signal into it.
