Ripsaw HD Xbox series S and 4k TV setup help

Recently purchased a Series S and a new 4k TV and when I went to setup my Ripsaw HD, I got no video signal. Went messing around in the settings on my Xbox and got it to work for a minute but it ended up freezing. I was previously running the same Ripsaw HD through a Xbox One S into and older 1080p LCD TV and had no issues.
I've heard that the Ripsaw HD is supposed to be a 4k pass through but im not positive. Even if it isn't I made sure to have 4k and HDR disabled when trying to retrieve the signal.
I've checked all possibilities that I could think of i.e, unplug and replug ripsaw, switching hdmi cables, trying different usb & hdmi ports, and even Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers to no avail.
What am I doing wrong?

having the same issues its not showing any video input on my tv from my ripsaw
Figured it out on my end. Turns out it has to do with the setup altogether. Since all new electronics, i.e smart TVs, consoles, stream sticks, have something called HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) which is a signal block that is built-in that stops video signal into devices that are not compliant with this system. The system was implemented as an anti-piracy measure but seems to cause more issues than it solves.
Unfortunately there aren't really any work arounds without buying additional equipment. I've heard that using an HDMI splitter can bypass that block. I'd recommend checking your TV model and seeing if in fact there is HDCP, then checking if there is an option to disable it.
Hope this helps.
