    Hi all,

Been looking to get a Razer laptop and was wondering how well a Stealth would handle editing Gopro videos in 4k 30fps.

I know that dedicated graphics would be the weapon of choice in the Blade but was wondering if it would be possible. I am not a professional editor, just want to be able to edit nice videos a couple times a year max. If it takes a couple hours to render, thats okay too. I rarely play PC games so this would serve as my daily driver and occasional video edits.

I've settled on the Razer line because it fits what I like. Simple, no transformers type chassis and good power.

Looking to stay under $1500, I can get the blade if I have to but at that price point, I might just consider something like a Gigabyte Aero 14.

Any input from those that have edited go pro stuff would be great!

    Thanks!

You can edit, but it will be slow. When I use GoPro studio, I like to use a faster machine for 4k. I found that the Blade with 16GB of RAM worked good. The Blade Pro just rocks, but is way our of budget. For 1080, the Stealth is good enough. YMMV.
