RZ09-03102E22 and the Dell WD22TB4 dock

Hello,

I have a Razer blade stealth 13 2020 model and I'm having issues with a Dell thunderbolt dock. I've had issues with other docks in the past and am certain there is a problem with the laptop's firmware. All displays work at the correct refresh and resolution on the dock but all USB devices connected to the dock do not work on my blade. This dock has no problem with any other laptop in my home, and works just as intended. It's only when I use the thunderbolt port on my razerblade do I run into this issue. In Linux the behavior is exactly the same. Displays work but all USB devices including ethernet don't.

Does anyone have a fix? Is there a bios update in the works that'll address this issue soon?

Check your Thunderbolt security setting in Bios and make sure it's set to either No Security or User Authorization. No Security it should work on booting, but if User Authorization you need to look for the pop up in Windows on boot notifying you that a Thunderbolt device has been detected and select Always Connect.

I have a 2018 Blade 15 and was having this problem recently with a Dell WD19TB dock and it fixed the issue.
