It definitely seems useful for either minimalists or for those who stream on the go, as some people do on Twitch (although I've seen enough videos showing why that's maybe not a great idea LOL). Personally, I would get this for a lightweight mic, since I wouldn't need to use a mic at my desk or on my headset, so at home it might be more comfortable at times, and I can walk around with it or even travel with it. I already have the original Hammerhead wireless earbuds, so with this, I wouldn't even need to pull out my phone to make a call, since I'd have my mic and speakers already on me! The price tag definitely keeps me away (for now), since for me, it's less practical than, say, a professional streamer. Still, really interesting product, and hopefully something like this gets a V2 — maybe to drop the price by ~$20 while still keeping the quality roughly the same?
Actually, I did end up buying it, and it works as I expected. I've already found that it's actually really clear for phone calls, with the receiving end apparently sounding as clear as if I were standing next to them. In contrast, however, over Discord, it started to sound grainy for some people; I'm guessing this is because the noise suppression in the Seiren misbehaves with how Discord picks up sound, even without Discord's noise suppression. Nevertheless, I was clearly understood in all of my testing, and it sits very comfortably on my clothing. The functionality for calls is ideal for someone like me, and the latency doesn't seem to be much of an issue, it seems to be pretty fast, at least for my standards, so I'd say it's worth the $99 price tag. Audiophiles might disagree, and it always depends on practicality, but for my intents and purposes, it's fantastic!
There are so many people who need this for their conference calls. Oh, and specific teacher who tried to teach on-line with a low-budget headset.
Looks like a Vape pen lol, little on the expensive price, but its Razer so who cares. Not going to lie its pretty useful, another good product from Razer
Well I have been testing it on different things it seem to work great on my phone and works with a little work on pc. Need to be setup on pc as mic only I don't like seeing headset pictures. Could not find only mic pictures for hardware. Hopefully we get cell phone app on windows and it shows up in synapse 3.0 and razer software. Tested with a few free audio software programs in windows for recording audio. Was shocked how well it can pick up my voice and not the fans or wind. I think it great to use with cell phone charging and connect to razer sound bar so I can chat and work. I like to Tested it with windows halo lens 2. I have try it on razer 2020 laptop and also windows surface pro x. Hopefully software supports for more then phone shows up fast. Its so small I hope I don't loose it one day. But great new product that's has sneaky snake name on it. I think you can unlock a few features if your a good software programmer
