Seiren X cuts output audio

Hello I'm having problems with the Seiren X (v1). It doesn't want to pick up consistent noises. If I continuously go "AAAAAA" into the mic it will phase in and out, it sounds like "AAA......AAA....AAA". I'm afraid when I'm streaming or using Discord it will cut me out oddly, I want to be fully heard. There is no settings to mess with and this mic doesn't work with Razer Synapses. The drivers are updated.
Is there an automatic suppression or something happening in the background? What am I missing or what should I be doing to fix this? Should I have gotten a mic that's less 'Plug and Play' with more options?

And yes, the Razer Seiren X does not use the Razer Synapse 3.0 since it's a plug-and-play device. Check if the behavior happens while the mic is connected to another USB port or computer.
