Setting a macro to a keybind while retaining the original output of the key.

Sorry, I know I'm probably just missing something super obvious because I'm not accustomed to this software.

This is an option to check in most other software I use for other keyboards and devices but I'm not seeing it anywhere in synapses macro module or the keyboard controls. A workaround I was thinking of was to just assign two functions to a single key, as I can see how to reassign key functions but I can't seem to figure out how to do more than one per key without using the hypershift function, which would be exactly what I'm trying to avoid.

Can any of you folks point me in the right direction?

Not possible without Hypershift or profile switch, unless you have Huntsman V2 Analog (with analog-optical switches).
Thanks for the response, that's a real bummer though. I love the switches on my huntsman elite, they feel like cherry blues. I'd prefer to use it over my corsair even though the lighting options in icue are far and away superior, but the lack of macro functionality that other software has is removing it as an option. Maybe autohotkey can save the day.
