Seems a little hypcriticall if that's also a word in English, many games straight up don't support mac. For an example I own 400 games on steam and about 10-20% is in the 'supported by Mac tab'

You own 3x the amount of Razer stuff I own...and I didn't even buy mine it was given to me and I promptly put it through a washing machine because it was growing mould...

Oh for the record it was a Goliathus nothing electronic :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I hope to be able to join the Razer Community as a fully fledged member sometime soon, but they have yet to make it truly possible for us in Aus to be able to even buy their new systems, ignoring the unfortunate price inflation due to tax/exchange/etc. that occurs making them very pricy...

I wanna buy a new Stealth and Core commonnn Razerrrr let me give you my money!
  3. no who cares. dont go full razer fan boy and get everything razer

never bad to have a healthy mixture of both. but at the end of the day, just get whats gonna perform better. either razer or apple

I have used a mac, supported macs for customers and businesses, i've owned mac's. There is literally HUNDREDS of programs/options for windows to dual-boot, virtual OS, or other variations of exactly what you are talking about. ( SOURCE EXAMPLE ).

I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but it seems wholly inaccurate. Nothing you have stated is true about macs or windows.

    Other things to read:
Why is mac so terrible with Memory Management and how to fix it
What can a windows computer do that a mac cannot out of the box
What can a mac computer do that a windows cannot out of the box
Multi-booting history (Wikipedia) that shows windows allowed multi-booting long before mac

(In looking up sources i'd like to note it was REALLY freaking hard to find a list of pro's to mac's that didnt include 100% opinion like 'Mac's make people happier' or 'Mac's have more style')

Now if you'd like to make those claims again with sources that is something i -may- be interested in. However so far i'm not seeing a single shred of evidence online to confirm your claims.

20 games? I have over 200 on steam that wont play on a MAC at all. Most of the MMO's I've ever played don't even play on a MAC at all either.

'Obviously superior macOS'? ... where is your source for this?

'Oh, yeah, its because you are dead-in-the-water wrong and too obstinate to see it any other way besides your opinion, which you just proved have the ability to be wrong' ... isn't that what you JUST did earlier by saying 'obviously superior macOS?

Gosh you are one silly silly troll, I feel sorry for you.

My $0.02: I like them both for different reasons. They each have their pros and cons (as has been said). I own a MacBook Pro and built my own gaming PC.

I think we are getting a little too salty about this. I don't think berating those on either side of this debate will win people to the other. We gotta have each others' back! #fgbg #CultofRazer #drinkthegreenkoolaid

    Now i want coolaid!

/agree though. Its a salty conversation, its like politics for the gaming/computer world

    Amd or Nvidia
    Windows or Mac
    Amd or Intel
Cake or Pie ... they all lead to endless debates

I just went and bought an Apple TV during my lunch break ... when I opened the box, there was no screen/keyboard. MacOS FTW! /sarcasm o_O

Honestly, I would buy a Macbook Pro if they were not that overpriced ... and install Windows on it. I would only buy it the the built quality as most of my stuff wouldn't work on MacOS.
The same goes for the Surface Book, it is way overpriced.
Compared to those 2, you got a lot of a hell more bang for your buck with the Razer Blade.

...but I really did just buy an Apple TV

They really are not, neither the OS nor the hardware.

    What about a Hackintosh?

Hahahaha I had Peach Mango Kool Aid with my breakfast! Mmmm... breakfast of champions!

The politics analogy is pretty apt, as well as the other component, OS, desserts, etc. I do enjoy seeing the factual points in these arguments - hardware specs, OS builds, and what-not. I usually tune out pretty fast because the discussions tends to turn south pretty quickly.

You can set up a bootloader and install pretty much any OS on a PC in multiple boot mode. Doesn't matter if you have Windows, Linux, MacOS (hackintosh), etc ... But I don't *NEED* to dual boot, since I already have Windows :)

Seriously, every Macbook owner I know either have a VM or Dualboot to be able to use Windows for everything they can't do in MacOS.

I'm not saying that MacOS is a bad OS, but it is aimed that a specific group of people. Or at least was, in the past, when everything audio/video/picture editing related stuff was better on Mac. Now unless it's an Apple software, it runs better on Windows (i.e. Adobe Premiere).

I'll admit that it's somewhat easier to use, since the ecosystem is locked down. And that it won't crash as often as Windows, since the hardware is the same in every Macbook/iMac. But that's the beauty of a PC: you can built it yourself with whatever hardware you wish! You can make it your own. You can design the configuration to exactly fit your need and you won't have to sell your newborn to afford it.

This turned into a Apple vs Windows war so quickly, was to be expected though.

You, my friend, are unknowingly about to start a war...
Nevertheless, I used a MacBook Air for a short period and would occasionally play things like WoW and other games with low minimum requirements. l even still use it for small tasks from time to time, (never for gaming, but to each their own) and think that for the money, it's a fine machine.
Though, I must say that having made the swap to Windows 10 with my Razer Blade a year and a half ago, I agree with much of the Windows support here, and can safely say that I'm gone and don't plan on looking back anytime soon. Even ignoring the obvious advantage of gaming capabilities, as a third year CS major, I find the OS and overall experience to feel less dictated and more enjoyable.

Whoa whoa dude...calm down. I must have missed this reply. Why are you so angry? I was just posting a meme I thought was funny. It wasn't meant to offend anyone like that. Although...the fact that you only have nearly 20 games in your library kind of proves my point

I have to disagree with the "obviously superior macOS" comment. It may be better at some things but that doesn't make it superior because Windows is better at other things. Being a gamer, macOS is never going to be superior for me personally.

You clearly haven't read very many of my posts on this forum if you think I'm obstinate. I hate Apple. But I've criticized Razer. And I've praised Apple. I actually try to be unbiased and objective about these things.

Don't worry, I'm sure other people made even worse mistakes. The ones that should be ashamed are the arrogant ones who keep dwelling in their mistakes and insists that they're right. I hope everything goes well with your new gaming desktop. Keep your Macbook Air. Its going to be incredibly handy as an ultrabook.
