  1. Hello all~
I've been looking at dbrand skins for my RBS. I'm torn between the matte and the black titanium. If you have bought a skin for your RBS, can you please post? Thank you!

I can post my receipt lol
I just ordered mine the other day. I got the Black Titanium. I liked how it looked on other devices, and I didn't want to stick with a matte finish. I would've just left it alone lol
Hopefully there are others who have had the skin on and can bring up pictures though.

Dave 2D have a video on both the stealth and the Blade showing Dbrand
give it a look, the video is Core review
personally I am not 100% sure if I will get a Dbrand skin

  5. I've seen that video but he only showed it for a few seconds. :slightly_sad: I'm torn too if I should get it or not. I don't want to cover the RBS's sexiness, but at the same time, I hate the fingerprints and could use something to protect it from scratches.

I ordered the black carbon fiber top and bottom and a Razer green trackpad skin. I'm OCD about my gear and keeping it in pristine condition. I got tired of constantly wiping down the blade...it felt like I was constantly changing a baby's diaper!

After dropping a few grand on a laptop, I think it's worth the investment to protect it from light scratches for $50 The problem with the Dbrand skins is which to choose? I really liked the leather, but the skin would have to have some texture to it to work for me, and it was unclear if that was the case. The carbon fiber seemed like a safe alternative.

Wow, that looks really nice, especially with the black lines still visible. Unfortunately for me, I don't think the dbrand skins for the Blade have cutouts for the lines. (If I'm wrong feel free to correct me!!!)

I found this skin on amazon. Now that I removed it months ago, I kind of miss it. Made it unique...now I might but it again. They have it in dark too.

If they came out with a Core wrap in the same pattern, I'd definitely do it again. And the texture felt like real wood grain too. I was very suprised by it...that's it, im reordering it.
Brand is Skinomi, on amazon. Like $15. With free screen protector. Dbrand is overrated. Skinomi for the blade is better quality in my opinion.

    You're welcome bud.

The only negative I would have to sat about skins in general, I feel it makes the blade/stealth retain heat. Seems like it doesn't dissipate through the aluminum as well. But thats just how I felt about it. Could not even be a difference. Just felt like it seemed hotter.
