Over the past several weeks, I've been having an issue - in Discord - my Sieren X microphone will stop functioning, and then everything I say comes through as high-pitched screeching noises.
I haven't seen anyone experiencing a similar issue - but have tried the following:
1. Reboot
2. Uninstalled anything related to the sound, like Voicemeter, (which wasn't in use.)
3. Uninstalled Discord, reinstalled fresh copy.
4. Checked Windows updates for any/all related updates.
Unplugging and plugging it back in, (cycling the USB connection) didn't make it work. If I connect it back up after reboot - it works for a few minutes, and then starts the crazy sound again. On my side, I can't hear any issue - and Discord looks like its working - but the sound output on the other end is completely unintelligible. I then have to switch to my headset mic, and can continue communicating normally. (Same issue occurs with in-game chat, so this doesn't appear to be a Discord issue.)
