So, I still use a couple of the Tron keyboards, wanting Hypershift

I still use the Tron keyboards, one at home and one at work. I use this keyboard as my hands fit the oversized spacing of the keys better than any standard sized keyboard. I blame years of working on cars for my hand size and discomfort/fatigue with standard keyboards.

I'm still using the official Tron Software (1.02) for the keyboard, but a coworker just got the Razer holiday bundle and while assisting with the setup since I'm already familiar with macro support in razer's software I came across HyperShift. This would be a great addition to the old software, off hand I see no reason a driver/software update could not add this function to the Tron keyboard. Other option would be official support for this keyboard in software with hypershift support. I know this is an older keyboard, but I've never seen any since in your product line with keys sized/spaced like this.

I know I can use the profiles and switch between standard and a "HyperShift" profile and I currently do this. But the function of HyperShift in the new software is much more efficient, 2 key presses ([bound HyperShift] + [bound marco key]) instead of 5 (FN + 2, [bound marco key], FN + 1).

If there by change is already support for this now I've not seen it officially mentioned anywhere I've looked.

Sidenote: I can't believe the resale price on these Tron products (the home setup include the mouse w/ pad)

Wow, that is quite the old set of keyboards you have!

As for hypershift being a thing on them, i doubt that would become possible, since they are simply too old and there are not as many left around now, so if there is the smallest chance they will be updated to Synapse 3 it would end up being one of the last products to be updated.
I played around with my profiles and got it down to 3 keypresses, I have a key (scroll lock) in profile A that selects profile B with the Marcos set to the other keys. In profile B that key (scroll lock) that switched to Profile B will switch back to Profile A. Now wishing there was a flickering effect (like looping the startup and shutdown lighting effects) I could apply to the keyboard in a profile just to make it really clear a special profile is active.
As far as I have been able to determine there is no way to use a non-razer keyboard to activate hypershift and I find that to be pretty bogus. It's a feature on many mouse brands and I have never encountered one previously that requires the purchase of a secondary device to activate it. It's holding the functionality of my mouse hostage and I'll be taking that into account when it needs to be replaced.
Wow, I didn't know this product existed. I like it. Loved the first Tron and the Tron 2.0 game, the newer Legacy film was not good IMO.

The Tron keyboard is from Razer.
