Solution for Thunderbolt 4 Dock - Secondary Display Issue

After perusing previous messages on Razer insider it looks like there's some sort of incompatibility when you have a secondary display such connected to the thunderbolt 4 dock. To level set I am running a 2022 Razer Blade 15 advanced, Razer Thunderbolt 4 Dock, and Samsung G9 odyssey monitor.

Razer support was only able to instruct me to go to try another cable and verify I was running the latest Windows, Nvidia, and Razer BIOS updates. For those who don't know... the BIOS update will lock out your keyboard and mouse then reboot without prompt subsequently disconnecting online chat. So be prepared before kicking that software off.

Kudos to sleekMinionYellow520 in this post who noted the last working Nvidia version 512.95: /razer-blade-17-2022-external-display-not-working-after-driver-update.86842/#post-815577

So I uninstalled the latest driver 516.xx via the Windows uninstall utility, then went and pulled down that last working driver from Nvidia here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/189682/
Driver Version:512.95 - WHQL
Release Date: Tue May 24, 2022

AND NOW MY SECONDARY MONITOR WORKS AGAIN VIA THE DOCK. I know this doesnt solve the issue but hopefully the driver update after 516.59 (as of this writing) doesn't re-introduce this issue.

Hopes this helps others. Razer support do everyone a favor and do not lock posts so quickly so we dont have to make separate posts.

Same happened to me now.

I just bought a Razer Blade 15 and updated drivers. Suddenly, my external displays stop working.

Downgraded to 512.95 and now everything is working again.

I'm afraid we are all stuck in this old version with such a recent and expensive computer...

@Razer.Speedcr0ss any info about this?

Hey ecentinela! Thanks for the mention. I'm glad that the workaround helped you and SamGribbley's Razer Blade 15's concern while connecting a secondary monitor. Razer is aware of this behavior. The Support Team is tackling this issue and currently communicating with our devs. Our workaround is to perform a display driver rollback to 512.33, the same version in the Windows update. If the rollback button is grey out, uninstall the current driver and perform a Windows update check.
Good!
Happy to know that the team is actively working on it!
I hope that the next driver works as expected!
Thank you @Razer.Speedcr0ss!
