The GameManagerService ruins the (beta) 3 experience. That little bit of kit throws Windows Event log entries on each & every boot. The inane response I received from Razer support was embarrassing. These robotic, template based form letter/emails have me losing faith in Razer. For the price of their products, the service should be top shelf.

Reverted back to Synapse 2.0. It just works !

I have an issue and I don't know how to fix this. I tried to reinstall the razer synaps multiple times but I can't open it.
This is really annoying and I hope there is a way to fix this.

Ehm... You never said what the issue is o_O
Edit: Is it that you can't open it?

This New synapse simply does not work. every change i made i have to restart the program, i took me like 5hours to learn how to change the color settings because the device would keep crashing.

Now i change some buttons but it does not save or does not work... i tried to go to the older version but could not find anywhere to download.....

  5. You get paid by Razer ? Or you are too young to realize Razer is watching you (with their broken hardware-drivers). What do you have to hide ?

    I also found this:

I can reconfirm what @Joikansai mentioned. Synapse 2 is NOT dead, it will be updated to comply with GDPR. Older versions of Synapse 2 (or Synapse 3 or Cortex for that matter) will no longer be able to login to our servers as they are not GDPR compliant.

I've just bought new Deathadder Elite....wonderful piece of HW....but when I installed Synapse 3.3 I was so surprised how Razer can do this to their HW users. It consumes 500-700 MB of RAM, despite Im on 1Gbit line it works like an online app on ISDN/EDGE connection. Razer, why do you force us to use your SW online only? Such decision cost you so much in terms of gaming HW competition with Logitech, SS etc...
I have new hardware, I shlould be having fun with it and instead of fun Im thinking about return the mouse back :slightly_sad:

Synapse 3 not supporting the Man o war, and forcing users to install both software suites to get stuff to work is ridiculous!

Exactly. What is even the point of new software that doesn't have legacy support? Here I am with a Razer Naga Epic Chroma.... still being sold not even supported by this lack luster software completely powerless. You used to be able to link to any exe running now its a joke of what just recognized for the software. what a joke

If you fast swap programs regularly (such as dual or multi-boxing software gaming) or just running multiple apps with different key layouts synapse 3 issues will show up and hit you hard. To the point you will just uninstall and run back to synapse 2.

It's a bad upgrade for me. If you just tunnel one app for hours and have one-two key profiles you use then you'll have no problems.

It's the same with Synapse 2. Every competitor's driver switches immediately with window changes, only Razer not. Therefore I disabled automatic switching, because it's useless like this !

I just wanted a simple mouse settings window. Instead I get this monstrosity that's a video game in it's own right. My first gamer mouse was a clunky cheapo Walmart Blackweb and it's settings software is lightyears superior for ease of use and user convenience. I don't care about 90% of the features synapse throws up on my screen in my face and camouflages mouse settings with. I just want to set and forget and get on with playing. I won't buy Razer again until it gets it's settings software act together. Dear gawd I even had to open an account to set my settings. WTF!!

Downloaded the Synapse Beta and it's an improvement.

I even stopped wishing for Razer gear after my experience with Synapse and Logitech Gaming Suite. I really hope they do something about it. Also, LGS uses 29MB of RAM and is extremely simple, intuitive, and responsive, while Synapse uses 180MB and is probably the worst piece of software I have installed on my PC. Just look at LGS...

Synapse 3 is really terrible. It has Corrupted My User profile in windows 10 pro like 9 or 10 times... It is Really Not Possible to launch Synapse 3 . I have Every Peripheral Razer . I have to be on Synapse 3 AND Synapse 2 . And really concidering to switch to logitech or Asus Strix . I don't have More nerves to fight with Stupid software

Logitech Gaming Software looks very simple. Looks like I'm be replacing my DeathStalker and DeathAdder. However, Synapse 2 only uses 4 MB on my computer, but Cortex and Central uses a lot more RAM and I'm thinking about uninstalling them because they're useless.

I believe Central is needed for Synapse.

    Nope, I don't think it's need for Synapse 2.

150+-MB RAM considered ok for me. TBH, my working desktop only has 4GB RAM.:frown_:

What I feel suck about Synapse 3 is it is still in BETA version. Not sure when they finalize it...

Software really is broke, not worth it for me to explain. Used to be a fan...
