    Hey everyone,

About one and a half year ago I purchased myself the Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2.
For starters, I have to say that this is my first mechanical keyboard and that I love it, it has made me a Razer fanboy, haha.

However, during the vacation period I gamed until late / early in the morning, and noticed that the clicky sounds are quite loud when everyone is asleep, obviously..

I am currently looking for a way to sound damp this mechanical keyboard. Not to prevent it from making the clicky sounds, which isn't possible either way I suppose, but to dampen the sound so that it would be less noisy at nights.

Does anyone here experience with this sort of thing??

I heard O-rings could provide one possible solution, what sizes would I require if I were to choose for this option??

    Kind Regards,
    Unrealxs

I was in the same boat as you, the O-rings that were best for me were the big blue squishy ones: O-Ring Switch Dampeners Blue 40A-R - 0.4mm Reduction. They don't stop the click but they do reduce the noise when you bottom out.

Razer has their own set of O-rings in their own store, but I'm not sure about the specs on those.

Actually if you train yourself not to bottom out the switch every time you type, that goes a long way in not disturbing other people.

As @Hucast said - get an o-rings, but these will not quieten the "click" sound, only it will reduce noise, when bottoming the key.

I am aware that it will not dampen the clicky sounds. Sadly Razer embedded the RGB lights within the keys, so changing them is not an option either as it is likely for me to break the light circuit.

I have been looking for blue o-rings in the netherlands, but that appears to be quite a task.

Oh btw, I haven't been able to find the o-rings in the razer store either.

Buy everyone a set of Kraken each and let them sleep in peace
