Get something from Crucial, very reliable, and never had any problems with them. Samsungs are pretty good, but more expensive.
From my basic research and knowledge learned while searching to upgrade my Razer Blade, it really depends on your need. If you depend on programs that require intensive SSD usage then go for ones with fast READ&WRITE speeds as they will help a lot, but tend to be very expensive. If for gaming in general, READ&WRITE speeds doesn't really matter too much (in my case, as they don't really make too much noticeable difference in load times), then you can go for more cheaper $/GB SSDs like WD Black SN750, Samsung 970 EVO, or CRUCIAL MX500.
Overall, I would focus on the Write Endurance of the drive, type of storage memory used, reliability of the brand, then speed. You can also find more info in this link regarding choosing your SSD. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-buying-guide,5602.html
