Hi everyone,

I have been using the Blade 14 3070 for almost a year and have never encountered any issues until recently. The sound from my headphones became extremely low all of a sudden and there’s static and crackling noises. Also the bass seems to be cutting in and out when music is played. The headphones work perfectly fine because I tested it on another device and I used another different headset and the same issue occurred, so it has to be the laptop. I’ve also concluded that Windows 10/11 have nothing to do with the distorted and horrible sound quality from the headphones. So far I’ve tried every option on sound quality/static/distortion fix and nothing worked. I’ve even gone as far as soft resetting my laptop where only my files were saved but every app, setting, and software was factory reset. I’m wondering if it’s possible to send back this laptop to the company and maybe they can fix the audio? Or is there any solution to solve this horrendous audio coming from the headphones? Thanks

Does the audio quality issue happen in all apps with audio? How about listening to music through a browser? Try installing the Intel Driver & Support Assistant and see if it offers drivers for your laptop. You may also run the Windows Sound troubleshooter and see if it detects any irregularities in the unit. I’ll be locking this thread now.
