[Status update] Blade 2016 shipment

    I don't think this is sinking in. You don't need to be a student or have anything to do with school at all. There is no verification, zero, nada, zilch. Pick your Alma Mater, pick bob's preschool for aliens..doesn't matter. Get 200 bucks off.

    I got the wmail saying "your order will be shipping soon" but thats it i also dont have a delay email is it possible they shipped it but just havent sent me an email yet?

    Ok -- I got that email last Saturday.

    without fanfare the order jumped from Submitted to In Process yesterday (had to click view my order page to discover it (no email notification on that one).) Then shipped overnight.

    So yeah, without knowing an ounce of how their fulfillment process works, I am guessing (only) that they cut off the next chunk of the cheese (orders) in blocks and pass them onto the fulfillment houses to nibble away at by whatever independent process the fulfillment house uses....

    buck up! it's almost there!

    I don't think April people have any shipping info yet. At least not to my knowledge from reading this forum.

So two updates to my Razer saga, on the status page on Razer on the bottom the date changed from 5/25 to 5/20, second the lady investigating the order stuck in processing called me today and told me that that order one ship and to even make matters worse she told me that what the guy did yesterday was wrong and he shouldn't have cancelled as he could've directly added the student discount on my order. Also I am yet to have the hold on my funds gone so even if anything from Microsoft gets up today I won't be able to pounce on it.

  7. Most of the people who ordered from MS are probably not even in school...you just pick a random school and you get free discount. They're not going to verify you or anything

    Im no native english speaker but are you trying to say its possible or your saying it did or thats what happend to you? If they shipped it and i get no shipment information email its fine but im starting to worry

    Silly question...
    Did the guide get posted for creating the boot disk for swapping the drive. I know one way to do it but wanted to compare notes.

    Lmao i just checked my order confirmation email it says i ordered march 26 and ive been saying march 27 im sure it dosent make a difference but still my order hasent shipped yet i ordered the 512 model ans there people who orderee after me recieving theirs :slightly_sad:

  12. I ordered 18 March and haven't had mine ship either. I feel your pain, let me know if you get any contact from @Razer|Technokat or CS that is helpful.

    I'm watching the MS store myself but who knows when they get more and if I can get to them when they do.

    Orders shouldn't be cancelled for no reason - do you have a Case ID or Order ID for me to look up on?

    I believe I've asked for a Case ID, I'll need that to look anything up.

    Are you referring to the Microsoft or RazerStore purchase?
    To quickly clarify, the status page might not carry the latest information and could be showing the original estimated ship date. The most accurate information would be in the form of your last RazerStore email update.

    If you are not receiving the emails, do check the spam folder.
  16. I am talking about the status page on the Razer website, it used to show it would ship after 5/25 and it is showing that it would ship after 5/20. I checked my email and the last thing received was the email informing me of the delay to 5/25

    Ordered the 512 3/16, and found out my card was compromised 3/29. Contacted Razer CS, got a good run-around including a priceless "we don't offer phone support for orders" and was told to cancel my order and try again. Kept order open until I could re-order with a new card.

    Ordered another 512 on 4/9. Kept old order just in case there was something that could be done like prioritizing the new order (spoiler alert: more run-around).

    Never received the free armor case message on my original order. Figured maybe I could get a case out of them later if I had any further issues. Watched this and other threads like a hawk. At least I could commiserate in the misery of others.

    Nice that Microsoft came through on the systems. Was able to place an order through them earlier this week at random chance, and received my shipping notice early this morning! Waiting for that tracking info to populate. Contacted Razer to cancel the original order.

    Once I get actual ship information I'll cancel my other order from 4/9. If Razer had made good with the credit that some orders got I might have stuck it through this whole extra delay.

    My 4/9 order now says ships from 5/20 on the bottom of the order status page so maybe some hope for early April orders.Good luck everyone!
