updates can't be done without the Core attached to blade\stealth.
What card do you throw in there?
I have a msi gtx 970 LE. just an update for everyone. I got the computer to stop giving me BSD(had to uninstall nvidia, tb3, synapse. Reinstall all the above with no core attached... then go back and reinstall nvidia with core attached) but it will only work in mirrored mode to an external monitor. Am going to be calling support this morn to attempt to troubleshoot.
So they are closed for another 30 min. Anybody else got their hands on theirs? Would love to pm so we can trade notes to get this thing working (tried to create a thread regarding this and it was deleted as this is 'not a support forum'. So no public questions regarding other folks experiences and fixes).
Would you please confirm for me whether or not the power supply of the core accepts 220V? It should be labeled near the power cord connection. Thank you.
Doesn't sound right?? What if you don't want to use an external display it should still work right? or it's supposed to.
So quick update: Got the core to work perfectly. You will have to go into windows default display settings to detect the display. For some reason intels graphics software and nvidia's graphic software was not recognizing it. Everything is working perfectly! Super stoked about this. I have work to do but will attempt some games on some down time and will update
It does. Look in this document: http://dl.razerzone.com/master-guides/RazerCore/CoreOMG-ENG.pdf
AC Input: 100-240V, 6.0A
Awesome! Thanks for that link.
battlefront on high settings on a 3440x1440 was playing 60fps with gtx 970 no probs... was about what i was getting on my desktop with the same card... Only thing now is to see if the gtx 1080 can preform well on the core. Will pick that up in a heartbeat if so.
Thanks for posting these updates, I think you are one of the first to have hands on experience with the core.
Congs for having your hand on the core
can you please upload a video
All i have is a cell phone....
That being said I have been working in ArcGIS and it is sooo much more faster with the core attached. Worth every penny.
with the new 1080 and 1070 the core will be unstoppable
A cell phone is good
Wait till we see if it is compatible and not bottlenecked
Is the core compatible with GTX 1080? It is not listed as a compatible card. I'm not sure if that is because the card hasn't been released yet, or because driver support isn't ready or there are size constraints.
or it just hasn't been released yet so they can't promise anything.
I wouldn't know
The card has not been released yet and is going through testing. We will provide an update soon.
I have to say, I am excited to be a part of and witness a new page in gaming history. It might sound a little odd right now but gaming is evolving so fast with powerful graphics cards and user friendly graphics enclosures, I can't wait to see what it's like in the next few years... Maybe I'm just getting old.
