that's basically why i was getting this, instead of buying or building a desktop setup.
hmmm...i atleast expected some kind of communication from razer about my pre-order vs me having to search for an answer...guess i'll see how bad i want this.
should i just order the stealth and wait to get the core later??? also which one is not the 4k screen?

  2. QHD is not 4k

It does suck when they start launching all these new products and just completely seem to ignore other products that people are more seemingly wanting clearer answers for. Heres to hoping the blade also doesnt get pushed out anymore. It would be pointless if my core arrived before the computer I can use it on does.

  6. So with the "orders ship together policy" does that mean that my already delayed Blade shipping at the end of this month will not actually ship until the latter half of May when the core is shipped?

    Not mad, just confused.

I have the 4k 512 stealth...for over a month and a half. Just bought a Radeon Nano GPU, and no where to go. Im not mad and my last message was mostly in jest, but yes i am starting to get slightly impatient. I missed the preorder of the Core, and as sick as it sounds, would atleast feel better about it if i could just make my preorder. Again, mostly we are all being impatient. This is new territory. Id still like to be able to put in my order/preorder, but Id much rather have to wait to receive it than end up with a rushed shotty product that could either have issues or potentially harm the Stealth. At the end of the day, Id rather say the wait was worth it. Not that it was a waste.

If they are on the same order, then yes that would tend to be their standard practice.

  9. Same got this on my order invoice, so does this actually mean, despite it saying ships 4.29, it won't ship till next month? if so looks like ill be getting the man o wars here pretty soon then, but still, i was hoping for the core this month ;/

What I'm curious about is whether or not those of us with the coupon will have the code extended. I can't even order the core at this point, so I have a coupon for a product that I can't even lock down a hold on.

Just got the delayed shipment order. This is getting super ridiculous. First the blade now the core, each delayed a month. They offer no concillary offer for the frustration and just expect us to accept this as if they can do no wrong. I wrote them an email expressing my frustration and they wrote back telling me tough cookies, and said 'if we offered reparations for everytime we were late in their release promises we would be out of business'. Bad customer service and years of broken promises and stalled releases lead to no returning customers. One real competitor and Razer will be wishing they treated their customers a bit better. No other reputable company in any sector would be able to get away with this so frequently. Seriously considering cancelling both my blade and the core. We pay a premium price for good products (which they are) but their customer relations is insulting.

everything razer gets delayed. Never trust their initial release dates for systems..

I think that acceptance is a problem. Its we as customers that allow it to happen. If they actually respected us they would make sure not to make empty commitments and they would have a more thoughtful apologetic approach in their relations with their customers. I refuse to accept 'it is just how Razer does business' that is not acceptable. I am going to be searching for a better replacement of the core blade set up. I have spent over $4k easy since Jan on razer, never have I had such horrible experience with customer service. They can lose out on $3k as a result of this.

I completely agree it's unacceptable and it is also very very annoying, But the evidence backs it up. Razer needs to get their shit together or just stop promising unrealistic release dates

I'll be honest, this is why so many people choose to make large purchases, like the Blade laptop and the Core, as separate sales. This way each order then ships as it comes available instead of waiting for both to be ready at the same time. At at such high price points, they'll both get free shipping either way.

I also totally understand where the rest of you are coming from, I'd be pretty irritated if I were waiting for these release dates as well!! However, at least one person called Razer and said that they did not receive parts from one of their vendors which was partially responsible for the delay. (btw - thank you so much for calling and getting some info on that!) However, Razer not receiving the parts isn't something within their control.

My own personal opinion - I don't think that the biggest problem is the delay, I think the biggest problem is the lack of information to those who are waiting. It would be nice if they sent out an e-mail, even if it's rather generic, stating something to the effect of "We have been delayed due to something outside of our control and appreciate your patience, we are working to resolve the issue and should be shipping by X. Again, we appreciate your patience."

Simple, easy, to the point and thanks customers for waiting. Seems like a very easy way to placate many buyers.

plus 1, i would be fine with hearing that statement instead of silence.
on a side note since i was gonna order a stealth after i got my core shipped guess i'll order a stealth and marvel at it while i wait for the core..........

I'll have to agree with @kajira. They are 50% there, it's just the lack of information in the email aside from just saying it was delayed. Honestly, I know they can't tell us everything but a simple reason as to why would be nice instead of seemingly having to pry the information from them.

One other thing, and I might be wrong on this, is supply. Obviously with their peripherals, they are usually in stock ready to go when they announce them. Even the recent man o'war, ripsaw and I think bw x chroma were available right then and there. This leads me to believe that on their higher end, more cost associating products like the blades and core, it's more of a pre-order. This way Razer can gauge demand and not overstock. Problem is, this might work on your first and second gen products but being on your fifth iteration of a product, you should be able to semi gauge this. Build up stock ahead of time, then announce, then sell. Obviously if you run out, then it goes back to the queue system. Allow people to order and have the products on back order. Btw, the notify me when in stock hardly ever works on their website. Emails are always late and by then products are back out of stock. Shouldn't have to sit all day pressing F5 on the product page. Allowing someone to order secures their place in line and if they cancel they go to the back of the line. Simple as that.
