That's awesome, I don't have a card to put in mine yet, I mean I could take my 980ti out of my desktop and test it out, but its not the same. I'm thinking about "borrowing" my dads 970 until I can get my hands on a second GPU, since he never plays games on it.

Dang that really sucks, sorry. You'll know yours is being shipped out after it changes from submitted and your credit card is charged then it should be shipped out the next day. My credit card got charged ~26 hours ago then shipped out about 2 hours ago.

I sure hope so bud. I even paid full price due to a non working 100 off code :slightly_sad:

I think so. I'm in Maryland and mine's arriving on Friday. Tracking says it's shipping from California.

  5. My Core shipped on Monday from Bloomington, CA and will arrive Tuesday by end of day to Pasadena, CA. Not bad.

Will it come with the latest GTX1080? Hopefully it does!

Got mine and... it doesn't work properly.

There's apparently some sort of switch inside the enclosure that prevents it from powering up when the card bay isn't in the enclosure. No idea why as it would make a great test bench setup, but whatever.

Turns out mine won't turn on when the card bay is fully inserted and locked in place most of the time. The switch actuates just before the card bay is fully inserted into the chassis.

So that's the bad news. The good news is that when almost inserted, it powers up. It works with both a new GTX 1080 and the Toshiba OCZ RD400 NVMe drive. I played Doom for a bit at 3200x1800 at Ultra settings. While Doom said it was running off the GTX 1080, the framerate didn't seem to go over 50 FPS, and was hovering most of the time at 45FPS. Not sure if that's accurate or not. This is the new 2016 Blade.

One other thing I noticed - I cannot "eject" the core using Intel's software. It seems to believe the generic USB hub won't disconnect or something. Hot plugging the TB cable works fine and the Blade doesn't hang, so not sure what that's about.

Your running a m.2 drive in the core? Didn't know that was possible

Most likely, I'm on the west coast so I was expecting about 2 days before it got here.

The RD400A comes with a PCIe x4 card that the m.2 is mounted to. The m.2 drive is removable. Assuming a few test games play ok on my Blade, I'm going to replace its 512GB m.2 with the OCZ 1TB as 512GB is just not enough space.

Initially, with no card installed, my Core didn't power up. I didn't realize that was due to the faulty chassis switch. One time it powered up with the OCZ card mounted in it, so I knew there was something fishy going on. It's when the GTX 1080 didn't power up reliably that I was sure there was something amiss with the Core.

That's something worth noting - the Core should power up with no card installed.

Just recieve reply from "support". Supposedly my Core is on back order!?!? I ordered mine at full price due to non working code at 3 am central time on the 7th, well before most on here had even noticed it was up for sale, and it's on BACKORDER?!?! this will be the absolute last product I buy from Razer, they have definitely lost a valuable customer. Are they all brain dead over there?? Worst company ive ever dealt with, aside from product build quality.

You have to be kidding me! I bought after you and had the same code issue and mine shipped. They need to get their sh*t together

Are you using the built in display? I ask because bandwidth is used up to send the video back to the internal display and at the resolution it may be eating up too much causing the decrease in FPS. I think you would get better performance from an external display.

That's cool and all. Look similar to my set up. I'm doubtful that showing how much razer product you have will really cause a reaction on Razer's part though. It's sad, but true.

Yeah, that wasn't what I was going for.
