Stop mining, because it's traffic jam

Wow, my GTX 1080 Ti rate of mining Razer Silver dropped a lot! Start wondering is it because of those people hate mining in earlier are actually came back mining now...

    My mining today:
    7.00am to 5.16pm
    Razer Silver mined: 135

Last time was like 400++, but now...

That's what they said until they joined the mining together....

Ya, My ratio is the same as yours too, about a 1/4 of what it was. Was 50 an hour, now is 15.

Similar situation here with a 1070, from making around 300 a night to 100-110. I assume it's due to the traffic jam, but still, more noticeable than what i'd like :/

My silver dropped as well. I am using 2 (two) GTX 1080 TI's to mine in separate computers, let them both run for 10 hours and I only got 300 Zsilver.

  6. I've the same experience as you guys; it's been long enough now that I'm starting to wonder if maybe Razer did some tweaking to how much zSilver you recieve each hash or something.

It'd be good to see updates from the guys who run this if they actually do perform tweaks. There's an obvious cost-to-benefit ratio that might change whether some of us really wants to use our gpu cycles for this instead of doing some actual mining, or even nothing at all.

Hmmm, I'll run this over to the team.

Thanks! I'm new to softMiner, running an overclocked 1080 and getting much less silverz than people's previous experiences would have lead me to believe. Got mah eyeballz on that firefly cloth and at this rate...

Thanks for the topic, i though that even if my old R9 290X isn't the best, i wasn't sure if the dropped was just an impression or real.

Woah, it seems that memory really makes a difference.
With 4Go of memory even my old R9 290X makes many silvers an hour.

@Dekades was there any update from the team? Been doing some baseline testing and getting maaaybe 200/day mining 24/7 using a GTX1080. IDK does that seem low?

    Hey everyone,

    Back with an update!
    • Due to increased traffic, Razer SoftMiner is balancing out the earning rate. Many users have joined the program globally. This is normal behavior.
The team also wanted me to let you all know that they are currently in the midst of making improvements to the software itself. They are also introducing some cool features along with exciting campaigns to Razer SoftMiner in the near future, so stay tuned!

If more people and video cards running softminer, that should equal more rewards since softminer is mining crypto for gamma and gamma is exchanging out crypto coins for money and working out some agreement and paying razer. Now unless of course its not profitable for them then they will lower the amount of silver since the crypto market is down. Only thing I can think of...been in the crypto game since 2011.

But to confirm, yes less rewards as of last month

Even using the highest reward possible the crypto you earn for them is much more valuable than zSilver. But people still mine, not sure why since the electricity you use is more expensive than the zSilver you earn.

Honestly, I'm starting to believe that the terms of the deal w/ gamma changed. It seems that quite a few people are reporting a 3/4 loss in gains. Granted, traffic jams are a possibility, but...
