Suggestion: Increase zSilver rewards for those who use RAZER products to game

As Min Liang mentioned, P2P is meant to reward existing razer customers and the main way to earn zSilver is by spending zGold. However not everyone buys games frequently and the current catalogue of games is pretty small.

I think a really good idea is to reward exisitng razer customers by letting them earn zSilver when using razer products to play games. This can be tracked with Synapse 2 and/or 3. What do you guys think?

Agreed, or make those who add Razer items to their Synapse for the first time get Razer Silvers with the rate of buying games with Razer Gold. Also, I think it is a great idea to allow Razer Gold to be added on to claim Razer peripherals if Razer Silver is not enough at the end of the year before Razer Silver expires

I love these ideas. Everything i have is Razer.

Now let me be a negative and bring counterpoints

  • Need to buy razer to get Silver. Not everyone can buy/afford Razer swag. (you will need money to make money)
  • We already have a 1 time reward for (some) razer hardware. it is here on the forum.
  • Item returns are a thing. People would register and return for free points. (buy Blade, Register Blade, Return Blade)

I think maybe we should have more giveaways.

Maybe empower the Mods to give a +1 for good behaviour / building the community.

People are focused on free stuff and forgetting to have fun.

Hi, let us look at this problem in a neutral way based on facts, make it a discussion don't make it personal. I would like to counter your points based my my opinion.

1. I understand not everyone can buy Razer peripherals but as Razer CEO Min Liang said, Razer Silver is a loyalty program currency so I assume the main motive is to thank Razer peripherals users and encourage them to buy and continue support Razer. I know Razer products are expensive but they are the ones who pioneered gaming (I agree with Min Liang when I watched his live stream), a very solid example just look at the 120hz Razer phone, so far not a single gaming company dare to release phone with that spec, I am not sure about Chroma but certainly I think the Razer Development Kit is the only programmable and community friendly RGB strip I can find in my country, Malaysia. In short, Razer peripherals are ordinary but they are the pioneer, big community support especially in RGB and the only company I know so far reward users with loyalty currency that can be exchanged for hardware. So, I think the price is not really a big problem if it is really valuable. Also, Razer peripherals have ID i believe which can be tracked so if the user abuse it by returning it before expiration date intentionally to get points, the silver can be removed (I believe this since I am learning coding Python and I am interested if they give me free courses to code for their chroma devices since I am going to buy them once I start working next year 2019. After all, Razer is a gaming company and they need funds besides profit to conduct R&D to give users best experience in gaming and products, they are not doing charity. If we want Razer to survive, we need to think behalf of them. It is a two way thing, when they are better, their loyalty system will also be better, what we can do is to give them suggestions, to boost their sales and profit and make buyers feel better and worth it .

2. Yes, I noted that but I think it can be better by adding my suggestion (just suggesting as I think it is good and Razer should consider it)

3. The solution is stated in my 1st statement. I think more giveaways is not really a good idea. It causes confusion and some people I believe will believe that giveaway can be faked or 'arranged'. I think Razer can consider remove giveaways as it requires more effort even with automated system. Instead of giveaways, try my idea instead. I believe in Razer since their support are getting better, their respond time are faster, rate of fixing problem is faster (my synapse 2.0 is working fine now although I prefer they unify it with 3.0 but give them time, coders need time to do a decent job), and they really take feedback into consideration, Razer Development Kit is back into Razer Silver Reward Catalog, P2P is back regardless of death threats (I don't understand why those people wanted to do that, isn't it a bit too over? I am a Chinese I believe Razer CEO too and in our tradition, death threat is a really bad thing, previous Razer Loyalty program in my opinion is decent but those people still want more ==, greed is not good, luckily Razer CEO get over with it, I certainly pray that he get over with it although it is not easy), Razer Insider UI is getting better and less buggy unlike last time the first time I use it although the Razer Achievement system still can be improved (I am not getting my points after testing Razer Synapse 3.0). I am grateful with Razer and I think they can be better.

What do you think?

Balance will always be a tough find. We and Razer cannot please everyone.

Just thinking about these issues makes me realize that we cannot be the only people thinking about this issue.
Razer has people working on multiple "Features". All the employees need is time.

Yes, Razer can be better.
Yes, Razer has gotten better
Yes Razer will be better in the future to come.

I hope so too, meanwhile, have fun in chatting and discussing in the Razer Insider

I think that is a good idea but they should also give daily rewards on cortex. Not much at first but say it starts at 1 and every day it gives you an extra 1 zSilver. After a year it'd be worth it because at the moment, getting a keyboard is almost impossible.

I hope you count Razer mouse pads in. I bought a Goliathus several years ago. It was expensive AF but I'm satisfied so far.
